I hope you have a long enjoyable reliable time with your new Frontier, sir ! I totally did not notice them before this 2022 redo in looks, it was like they were invisible. This latest design looks sharp, especially the Pro trim with LED headlights. I test drove one and am impressed with how quiet inside for a real truck. Ride over rough roads was quite good. I might look for a bright cheery uplifting red or blue Pro 4X slightly used. Too many cloudy gray not just days, can be entire solid weeks here in Nov., March and December, Feb., so it shall be a bright color. Around town light duty use, maybe 6,000 miles a year, mostly haul an e-bike, likely never any actual off road, I figure around $80/month for $3.30 gas. A real truck of midsize, easier to park than full size, less garage space sucked up, not so bloody high to get into. Also I REALLY like all the regular push buttons, not pages of electronic screen to try and find “virtual” buttons, which is distracted driving. I hear 2025 facelift Frontier, likely a larger 11” or 12” computer screen screwed onto the dash and some actual buttons being buried in software. That’s not my bag, too much gray hair to enjoy the thing called software.

@@Skunked68 that "Cardinal Red" they have is awesome looking. They also have a nice bright blue similar to Toyota's "Blue Crush" ... tho the name of that color eludes me at the moment... These dealers should be taking 10 to 15000 off and 0%. There discontinuing them because there overpriced and not in same league with comfort things. I know those are break points but most people don't care and aren't willing to pay the same for less comfort features which again is why it is being discontinued.

@@thomascrompton7775 Titan is being discontinued for a short time, it's coming back in 2026 or 2027. But yeah the whole market is overpriced to the point where even the Tacoma is down 40.6% in sale from last year. Only the Frontier (up 17%) and the Colorado/Canyon twins are up in sales. It's crazy

@@JJsGA dealer I went to has 13 titans on lot. 1 platinum that was a managers demo with 4500 miles on it. Been in there inventory 1 year. They feel 4000 off msrp is a good deal. Haha. @@tsinh89 after putting nearly 600 miles on it, I can say a telescoping wheel (at least for me and I'm 5'5) isn't needed. The seating position is such it's not really needed. But that's me. The Tacoma doesn't have one either

@@tsinh89 I will add tho, I don't believe there is a better cost to value ratio with any of the other 6 midsize trucks then you get with the Frontier. 48k out the door with almost every package (doesn't have the Pro-Premium package) isn't a bad deal.

The one thing that bugs me about the Pro 4x is the red bands on the tach and Speedo. Red is traditionally used to mark red line/ do not exceed limits. It shouldn’t be the color of the entire gauge.

This is the dumbest comment. Its like saying there should not be a white color on vehicle dials because its a color of road lanes and road markings. 😂

Rear dif leaks heavy steering and trans issues like any other Nissan
@JJsGA22 күн бұрын
@@christianscott3981 rear dif can be fixed in like 15 mins. It ain't a CVT, no trans issues here, it's based on the Mercedes 9 speed tiptronic. It's solid. Any issues have more to due with programing then the actual trans itself.....and that's been patched (the wonky cruise control) Heavy steering is a subjective complaint. It's the nature of HYDRAULIC steering.

What car computer system in these days is simple??? Genius!!!
@JJsGA24 күн бұрын
@@nn431xru1 it's simpler compared to its competitors is what I had meant. Not that it was a basic computer. It's the only truck in its class without some form of user selectable terrain management/modes select, no over the air updates. Engine management is also simpler as there is no turbo so there are less sensors and programing involved there. No Auto 4x4 so no computer to determine when to engage 4x4. There's probably more things I could find too. But comparatively, it has less then other trucks. Less moduals, less programing involved = simpler design. Just less to go wrong is all.
