Yeah, and then what about that bullshit call for stepping during his 2nd slap fight? He missed because homeboy flinched and moved his head, causing Ricky to lose his footing because there was no loss of inertia from landing on a check but instead just kept swinging..... When it said penalty I was stoked at first because I was thinking, 'good, they saw that lame totally flinch and cause Ricky to stumble", much to my disappointment though.....

I just wasn't sure if the stepping penalty was for a sort of wind up style stepping or just from losing your balance and making any sort of step after connecting with the opponent. I was going to say, that's stupid of its a penalty for the after slap step. But I can totally agree with penalizing a step kind of like how a baseball pitcher takes a step when pitching the ball. Gives you extra momentum and force. But our homie here was NOT doing that. Not by any means....

@@Peter-vo8sf I think that is in fact what they're penalizing him for. The point is that the entire swing has to be while standing on both feet, and the afterswing is still a part of the swing.

The Stepping penalty is for his follow through, your slap must be planted and if your lose your balance or over whine up it will result in one. It's to stop people for trying to use their whole bodies instead of their arm power.

I think Ricky just didn't really understand what stepping was, or was so in the moment that he didn't realize he did it. The other guy seems to be fully aware of the fact that he was making mistakes, and seemed to be apologizing profusely for it, but then kept doing it by accident each time anyway. I'd say it was comical if it wasn't for the fact that those neck slaps/chops are dangerous and could have seriously injured Ricky.
