I got mine just a few weeks ago and I love it, as you said, it is gold but not so much "in your face". I never thought I would like a gold watch so much. I like the "ridiculous" part also, a G Shock, made with metal...and covered with gold. Very nice review.

Can't believe everyone is missing that the Bluetooth ones, compared to the MB6-only, have automatic DST/summertime switching. The MB6 needs to catch the signal successfully at night for the change to happen, while the ones with Bluetooth run out of a database and switch to summer or winter time even if no sync is going on at that time. The feature is even officially listed by Casio. Of course, most people will probably not care, but for the more geeky ones out there like me, it's a nice added feature from the Bluetooth-enabled modules.

i´ve got mine today for about 300 Euro. It is a year old but only used very rarly. not much scratches or something. i love it and yes it is not as shiny as you would think of a "golden watch"

Great video mate! I did a camo metal mod on my g shock and absolutely love it! G shocks suit my lifestyle and the metal just adds a touch of quality to it that makes you feel like you’re wearing a more expensive piece. Think I’ll go for the gold mod kit next. All the best

The mod kits look surprisingly good don’t they. (Ones I’ve seen so far at least.) Not sure how they last though, is the finish super easy to scratch? Let me know how it fairs.

How'd you get the negative display on the Rose Gold? I bought one yesterday, and mine is just the regular one. The negative one looks sooo much nicer

He has the yellow gold with negative, not the rose gold. Rose gold with negative display would be incredible, would definitely buy that.

I think it looks good. You do have to be in the mood for a shiny full metal. Deff not an everyday. But give it a go. Maybe see one in the flesh before ordering. Colours are always different than you expect from photos.

@@biscuitsalive The rose gold actually looked better in person than the gold (to me atleast). I was initially turned away from these thinking that they might be quite blingy but you're right on the money; these are quite understated. It just works🤘

Lots still around. The black one is sold out on g shock site but seen many on eBay. (And other gwb models of various colours are still available in lots of places. )

I'm watching this and at this very moment, my metal G is 8 seconds faster than yours, and it is 1600 here. So, imagine my small surprise when yours beeped and you said 4 o clock.
