I have had my Qwerkywriter keyboard for 2+ years and love it. It does beckon and it does feel good to the fingers, as well as music to my ears. Thank you for your video. Take care.

I bought myself a Smith-Corona (I think) portable in 1958 when I was 12 years old, and I taught myself to type on it. As for this keyboard -- I WANT ONE!!!

Hi Mark, I'm about to purchase this keyboard. Did you have to pay UK Vat for this? On the checkout it says tax included. Thanks for the video, very well done and informative.

Hey thanks! I appreciate your kind words. I’ve had a quick look back at my emails and it seems like I had to pay around £60 import fees unfortunately - I’d forgotten about that! 😦

Does it work with Windows 10 pc? such as the volume and scroll controls

Good question and the answer is: I don’t know. I use an iPad as my daily driver and haven’t touched a Windows PC in a long time! A quick look around the internet found me this article which suggests it does - www.forbes.com/sites/marksparrow/2024/04/14/qwerkywriter-the-keyboard-for-every-budding-hemingway-out-there/?sh=62bb24f747b8 And the QwerkyToys website suggests it works with Windows too. Maybe best to send them a message with your specific question to be sure.

Can the lever be removed ? To not get in the way of the esc key ?

I don’t believe it can (plus it would ruin the aesthetic don’t you think?! 😎). It’s not too much of an issue when you get used to it.

It's ticks MOST of mine, I would even be willing to pay the price, if it had the authentic typewriter clicks. This one sounds more like a 90s keyboard than a typewriter. *Forgot to ask: have you tried the FINEDAY typewriter keyboard?
