Sonicake have sent me a few new guitar pedals to test out - the latest additions to their fantastic range of budget guitar pedals. First I'm taking a look at 'Levitate' - their brand new delay and reverb pedal.
It's an all in one - But with a great functionality to get either just the reverb, or just the delay that you want - as well as being able to combine them.
The delay features an extremely useful and user friendly tap tempo option too.
I love this pedal and it's definitely staying on my board going forward!

Great review, great playing. Just wanted to point out that Decay controls the length of the reverb tail, at least in most other reverb pedals.

I have the small reverb-pedal from sonicake. How does it compare to the reverb from the Levitate? Does it sound better?

You're too good a player to be playing budget pedals, lol :) 👍Seriously, that was the most helpful video on this pedal so far. I like the delay side more than the reverb side. I really wish they had included different types of reverb. But for the price this is a great way to dip your toe in the reverb/delay space 🌌🚀. We need more budget reverb/delay or reverb/trem pedals.

I am about to demo the modulation pedal they sent me with Trem, chorus etc innit so stick around for that! But I appreciate the kind words about my playing. To me good gear is good gear, price isn’t that much of a big deal!

Not all budget brands are weak, sonicake has a great R& D dept. despite being inexpensive, listen to Mike Hermans demo of levitate,it’s no joke

I ordered the Levitate but it's still on the fiscalization after pay R$140,40 of taxs over imported iten 😢 one moth after to be prescise

Yeah, but it's better that way because it shows good playing makes it happen more than a pedal.
