TAEP has helped a lot of folks out. I think it will continue to be a benefit to TN farmers as equipment keeps going up.

Thanks for sharing the video. Hey I fully understand what you have to do to make it these days. You are so right about our tax money being wasted as far as I am concerned. Nice seed tender. That'll make it easier for you. I fully understand fixing the baler you have. I've got a New Holland 7070 and I thought about trading but the new ones were giving a lot of problems at first and I am not farming a fraction of what I used to so I will keep it going as it is too good a baler. Enjoy your trip to the farm show and be safe.

@@Thomasfarmstn Het Russ. I grew up in the Western Part of New York State. A lot of green beans grown out there. Chilsom Ryder used to use a lot of different models IH tractors underneath their bean pickers. They were all painted yellow. I don't know any about cotton pickers, but maybe the company that built the cotton picker did that.

My background is industrial, not farming. But, I could not have done my career without farmers. No food, no society as we know it; period, end of story. Between the banks, machinery companies, parts suppliers, county, state and federal agencies to comply with, tax assessors, seed companies, farm bureau, weather, and anything else you can think of, the farmer is just the resident maintenance man. He doesn't really own anything. With razor thin margins you guys have to operate under, it's no wonder that farmers are dwindling. So, if it keeps food on my table, I have no problem with farmers taking advantage of a subsidy here and there. Many times it's the difference between surviving and going under.

Matt Griggs had a recent video where he was open about costs / profits on his farm including federal (i.e. taxpayer) dollars received. While I disagree that the money I earned should be taken from me to give to someone who didn't earn it, I guess at least farms represent productive Americans instead of bankrolling illegal aliens, unjust wars, genocides, the lazy, welfare, left wing dogma posing as science, tariffs, etc.
