I'm using a old Optiplex9020 as a homelab with FBSD and it is amazing. I5 third gen with 32gb ecc memory and 3tb of total disks memory.

Hey Gary, I think it is a Supermicro Server, or? Nice...!!! I have installed and use sevral Supemicro server at work. And even for my home (I could not resist) I have bought 2 Supermicro boards with 32/40 threads and a lot of RAM... 2 cases and 2 cheap graphik cards. I am looking for 2 monitors now. and hope all works 🙂 All the best from Germany, Norbert

I am sure I've used the same motherboard a while back and pretty confident it support SATA. Might need to simply change the internal wiring and move a jumper.

Sounds like you need to update the firmware on the motherboard. The fans should then throttle back and be much quieter when under normal load.

can cloudflare zero trust be installed on FreeBSD?

I was able to use cloudflare tunnel, there is a port for cloudflared.
