I know everyone has been waiting on this video, so here it is! I debated for a long time when to make this video, but decided that the shop will never be clean enough or organized enough, so might as well just make it. If you have any questions about the shop, or are interested in purchasing a car/ corvettes parts please see my email address below.
If interested in a TheCorvetteBen KZfaq Channel window decal, please send $5 through PayPal to Benjamin.friend56@yahoo.com. If you are international, please contact me first about price!

I’ve enjoyed your videos for years Ben. It’s great to see the Caddy again! Congratulations to you and your lovely wife on the newborn. If I wasn’t many thousands of miles away, I’d volunteer to computerize your parts inventory, sweep the shop, be your shipping clerk and keep the Cadillac clean. Keep up the good work and give the wife and kids an extra hug. Love from Istanbul.

Your success is due to your hard work and developing a plan and sticking to it. You have come a Long way and all of us car guys are applauding you wholeheartedly . I first started watching your channel when you rescued the fifty-three Olds. That inspired me to rescue a 1954 olds 88 and then another 55 Olds 88 came onto the seen. I got the 54 up and running and sold it 2 years ago now I'm working on the 55 and will have it running before long, it had been sitting in a field behind a guys shop for about 25 years. My first Olds was a fifty-four 2dr. HT in 1957 when I was 17 now I'm 83 and still wrenching on cars only a little slower. Lots of patience to you while working on those Vettes.

Good Job Ben! First Rate. I bought my house in Florida in May 2019. Before I moved anything in, I thoroughly degreased and cleaned the bare cement garage floor, etched the floor ,and epoxied it my self with the Rustoleum RockSolid products, I put the speckles in AND used the clear coat too. It was a lot of money for me but it transformed the place. Everything just wipes up and looks so nice. The finish is very hard. It is great. I never had a garage so nice (I am 65). My 1930 Ford Model A looks like it is in a TV studio. (I have to clean up my stray boxes of stuff too!) You won't regret it. Way better than bare rough cement. WATCH OUT because epoxy floors do NOT like UV light. They will yellow. My garage door faces east, so I am careful to keep the doors closed in the morning until the sun is NOT shining on the floors. Make sure garage floor is in the shade when you want the doors open for any length of time. That's why you never see epoxied cement coverings outside on the driveway. Outdoor Cement Floor paint can be used outdoors. Cheers, Chuck in Florida

I remember when you were working in your family garage. Congrats, Ben, hard work pays off, luck has very little to do with it. I think you did a great job designing a space that works for you. Trust me, if you work in them they never get spotless, at least mine doesn't. My only gripe with the floor stuff is you really do wind up ruining it if you weld at all, or run a plasma, etc. In my shop epoxy in the fabrication area is destroyed...but moving some of the machinery to re do it is just not on my list. Too dang busy. I wish I had done the skylights, those are nice!

Beautifully done! I sincerely hope it does the job for you and that we get to see it doing its job! I'm sure others have suggested that you get a good alarm system for your new shop. You've got a lot of valuable stuff there and I'm sure you'd like to keep it. An alarm system that's monitored 24/7 is not a huge expense and might just help lower your insurance premiums as well as provide some peace of mind. You've worked hard to get what you have. Protect it! Congratulations!! Looking forward to seeing you work your Corvette magic!

Congrats Ben, you worked your butt off for your dream, so you and your wife ENJOY every moment. Take plenty of film and pics, so when your older like me you will have it all documented and folks and your kids will believe your story. I am also a Corvette lover, as a kid I dreamed of them and at age 19 I got my very first. Since then I have only owned Vettes, except I also had a Porsche and a Camaro. I own now my C7 Laguna Blue, I also want a shop with bays just to store any future vettes to add to my collection. So one our home site I bought additional acres with creek. So now I’m looking for a cheap fixer, since we have no kids due to injuries and wife served in Marines and I AIRFORCE I wanna build a c3 with our nephews and teach them all about cars and corvettes. We watch all your films so keep them coming and again. Wishing you only the best of luck with your new home/shop. Nelson & Rita.
