A LOT of time working on this one, almost 3 months. I decided to include a few classical songs in 8-bit style and a few solos composed by me as well.
And ... YES, I know .... a real NES wouldn't sound like this ...

Fantastic work! As someone w/ about 7 GB of video game music (mostly Mega Man admittedly), it can be hard finding OC that really catches my ear. You sir, have definitely done it. I loved how seamlessly each song is incorporated, and your spin on each of the staple themes is refreshing. Downloaded, and will listen to on the reg!

As always, you never fail to amaze me. Every song in here is well remixed and absolutely gorgeous. I only wish that you would have done the Mega Man 6 final boss as well, but that's just me. Thanks for all the music you make!

As a major fan of this series, this is an incredible medley! You did an amazing job at really bringing the songs together. You really remade the songs in a very unique fashion while still retaining the original feel of them! Also loved the inclusions of classical music here and there! Keep up the great work! Hopefully we will have some new Megaman music to listen to in the near future.

I like how you've taken the time to clearly listen to the individual themes and blend many of them in seamlessly, or with very intelligent hand-overs between pieces ... it's a really enjoyable medley, and a fitting tribute to an *awesome* series of games :)

Two things. One, this is an incredible medley, capturing why each of the songs were good in the first place, and more, as well as transitioning between songs flawlessly. This is amazing! And two... anyone watching in 2018 or later?

I recently stumbled upon this video and must've seen it at least 15-20 times in the last week. It's so good!! The transitions are awesome and the themes held for just the right amount of time, considering there's so many! I love the side riffs that play off the themes... they add to the overall epicness. Great work!!

Yeah man, I became a music major because of the music I heard growing up playing games like mega man and zelda. This week, I've driven places while listening to this medley. It really was so well done, I can't stop complimenting! The timing, the instrumentation, the effects, the riffs, the transitions, even the song choices! Kudos to your skills. It's always nice to share in this kind of joy with other players who appreciate the subtlies (and sometimes not so subtle) reasons of why video games are epic! And I've listened to some of the other remixes and whatnot on your channel. I'll look up your album! Looking forward to hearing it. Have a good one!

Excursion1977 Well, to start ... I don't have any kind of special equipment for this. I only have a laptop and some good headphones :P I sequence the songs in "Guitar Pro 5.2". There I arrange the songs, compose solos, create new drums, check the structure, etc. I just release all I have in my head. Then, I export a midi file which I open with FL Studio 8. There I apply the different instruments I want, samples (in the case of the SNES remixes), soundfonts (Genesis and MMX) or VSTs (everything else). I hope this helps, if you are familiar with VSTs I can list all the ones I use here in a comment. I'll do an AMA (ask me anything) session when I reach 3000 subs. And possibly tutorials, thanks for watching !

I have listened to this song 3 times in 67 minutes and it has made it into my top 10 hours of joy. I will be downloading this gem, and I will also take a look at your other songs. I am definately going to recommend this to anyone that likes a little bit of 8-bit. 10/10 would buy but have no money, sad me. Please keep making these tunes. I love them. ***** Hi i'm a big MM fan and this is truly the best tribute i ever saw on YT. You did a fantastic job! Sometimes i miss these games and dust my NES off to play some MM2, Mario 3 or Double Dragon. I hope that not only you will retuen with another MM related video, but also Capcom with a MM game! PS: what's the name of the last song? Is it from MM6? I never played that game because i live in Europe :(

Just wanted to say this is probably my favorite video on KZfaq right now. It's such a well-made video and you really nail it for people like me that grew up playing Mega Man and loved the music. Mate, you did so great job with those remixes - over 20 minutes of awsomeness. I love Mega Man, but finding original Mega Man NES games is hard, and in PAL they're even more rare, because Poland never got the official release of NES. I must show your remixes to my friends. :D

When I made this thing I didn't even play mm4 and 5. I feel bad about that, I really wanted to add songs from mm4 and mm6, but the medley was already 23 minutes long and I didn't want it any longer :( Plus, mm6's wily stage 1 is the perfect song for an ending !

***** Yeah, i mean, it wasnt terrible, ive heard worse, but at the same time there are so many other versions which i would consider better. For example, Check rakohus' version. I know the mood of his contrasts the rest of the peices included in this anniversary, but I personally feel like it just feels a little more upbeat and a little less, drone i guess. Its hard to define.

***** After re listening, i think it would have to do with the pitch, I think. I think the lower pitch makes the mood less exciting and not as upbeat as the original, if you will. Im not sure if its solely that or a mix of that and other things, but that is the best explanation for my problem with it i guess.

22;58 minutes of pure awesomeness. Didn't think I'll watch the whole video but I did, it was THAT appealing :) my apologies for not being there to fill that gap (filled with better IMO). Btw, who's your favorite Robot Master, which game (1-10) and your fav. RM theme? also nice work on the Metalman theme (total weapon abuse XD).

Flashman had no room to breathe. Song was much too busy, like many here. Still, these tracks are great at what they do. Congrats. I enjoyed.
