It was a awesome smoker and would buy again . I had to sell due to health issues , they stopped production and are they back making them again ?

I'm impressed with the quality and features. I had a Humphrey's Battle Box and it seems like T&K is going to give Humphrey's Smokers some good competition! I think you made a good choice and I will be looking forward to your videos using the T&K.

Nice Cooker, simular to my Humphrey's, Just a side note on something I found out about the Fireboard, if running the fan drive, you only need to use the power cord for it, it will also power the fireboard while operating, per Ted Conrad at Fireboard.

Thank you for the heads up and will try next weekend when cooking something more simple than a $50 brisket tomorrow . The BBQ guru does a great job but does not notify me if cooking when sleeping and need to get the FireBoard going soon .

So I went to T&K's You Tube and the appears to be a modified "SS" model. If I am incorrect, please let me know. What were your overall impressions of comparing this to the cooker I sent you? I like the addition of the large "glow in the dark" Tru-tell, and the diamond plate for the shelf, top of the cooker and splash guard between the doors. Appears to be a thicker gauge than others I have seen that that tend to warp.

The SS model is a smaller cooker than mine and check out their website for the size difference . the cooker is made out of 1/8" steel plate and is way thicker than the Stump's I had but cooked very similar as far as smoke profile but think I got more bang for my buck with T&K smokers . I consider a Stumpville smoker but the shipping would of been over my budget at this time .

Thanks Jeff. T&K looks like it could be a viable option. I just need to find the time to create a comparision chart between them and Ironsides; however, I would appreciate your thoughts and feedback on the Ironsides since it is both a stick burner and charcoal. They claim extras are standard. They seem to gave great customer service from what I read.
