When I put up my basket gallery wall I traced all the baskets onto paper bags then cut them out and hung them on the wall. This gave me the opportunity to see the positions of each basket.

I don’t know how to say this without sounding like an asshole so I’ll just say it…the gen z version of tattoos aka the thin line barely there tattoos…you can workout. Or sweat or do anything and they will heal fine. The saniderm plastic is barely needed with the amount of ink in these thin line version of tattoos. Only saying because as someone who is about 90% covered in thick traditional style tattoos…you don’t need to be that worried about this style of tattoo healing. It’ll heal easily since there wasn’t much skin trauma during the tattoo itself.

Spontaneous tattoos are really fun, on the last day of our honeymoon I woke up and told my husband hey let's get a tattoo! I love mine but it's not perfect. To me that's part of the experience. I loved your attitude about the smiley though!

i just got tattoos for my birthday yesterday for my pets! they’re olive, cherry, & petunia, so i got those as their respective flower/fruit/branches & i got my partner & my birth month flower. v dainty and small and cute & represents our little family 🥲 love laylas tat

Researching a tattoo artist and seeing their previous work is super important. I couldn’t just walk in to some random tattoo place and have someone do a spontaneous tattoo. I have like 13 tattoos and I talked to the artist a lot beforehand. It sucks that that happened to you. Also, I have never once been told to not sweat for 4 days 🤔 That’s very odd, and I even have a tattoo on the back of my neck where I sweat a lot.

If you ever want to get another tattoo in LA I highly recommend opal tattoo studio! They are a female owned and all female artist studio! They have you fill out a survey about your preferences as far as like talking or no talking, any sensory needs, pronouns, etc. love them. Personally been to Erin and they are great!

Tattoos are so fun! Have you considered doing a sticker sleeve? Considering the tats you already have now, it seems like that may be a good style for you, but only if you want more tattoos, of course.

The 130 is so cool. My family moved every 3 years or so, my grandparents house was the one constant and since my grandma passed a few years ago, and she was my favorite human ever, I really like this. Although 9 doesn’t work as well as 130. I’ll have to find something inspired by my grandma.

It looks like you might have picture rails! Check that rail that is almost to your ceiling and see if there’s a ledge. They were popular in old houses that have plaster walls. 😊

One LARGE piece over the loveseat .... more horizontal than vertical and about as wide as the loveseat itself. Not only will it fill the space, it's a visual difference from the "gallery wall" clusters of small items in the room. WHAT kind of dog is Layla? My guess is border collie or Aussie crossed with a shepherd? But I'm actually stumped. Pretty girl, just curious.

Unfortunately fineline and smaller tattoos have a higher probability of blowing out. It is also unfortunately a trend for people to start doing fineline tattoos without proper training. Not saying this was the case with yours but for example in Utah the regulations are somewhat lax and have allowed people to move from doing microblading to tattooing without going through a proper apprenticeship process :( All I will say is to be careful and do heavy research on an artist to make sure they do the style you're looking for well, and that a slightly thicker line can still look delicate and elegant and hold better for longer. Regardless, I think that overall your smiley face looks fine and I wouldn't worry about a touch up or anything at this point.
