About Simple Little Life:
This channel has sort of turned (inadvertently) into a knife making channel. But the original idea behind what we wanted it to be is this description below:
Videos on our journey to homesteading. With a recent purchase of a little piece of the Alberta prairie, we're looking to sell our nice suburban home in search of a more meaningful life beyond chasing the "American dream" working for some big company and making someone else rich. It's not about the money, it's about getting the most value from the work I do to improving the life of my family.
Some preparedness, DIY, building quality things with your hands, guns, gear, and outdoor exploration.

I see it still has the original starter. My dad bought one new in 1980 and the guy that delivered it to our house told my dad that he would never need any parts for it. However the starter did start having issues after about 25 years of brutal use but he was able to get it rebuilt and it was good to go from then on. My dad passed back in 2016 and now I have his tractor. It still runs great . You will not be sorry that you purchased that tractor. The E-23 is a workhouse. Great video.

I have a Hinomoto that's a handful of years younger then yours. I love it. I was lucky that I knew the original owner who was very fussy about service & looking after it. I also had a Fiat 540 54HP full sized tractor but Moto got way more use than it did. We recently moved interstate & I brought Moto along for the ride, gets used every other day :-)

We just bought one from a gentleman who said it was a great little tractor. Just wish there was a manual for 1979 Hinomoto series E150.

I'm wondering can you get parts for it? Other than that It seems like it will be a great size for a small homestead garden. For a tractor that old it sure sounds good running. Lots of luck with it.

I apologize for bad English .. I bought such a tractor, I can not understand where the oil is poured into 1.5 liters in the on-board? Could you tell?

Hi there. Now after three years what is your opinion about Hinomoto E23? Still great little tractor? I found one and wanna buy it. It looks great and has very nice "retro country" mood.

I still have have it and like it even more than when I first got it. I took it out in 3’ deep snow and it just doesn’t get stuck. Other than regular oil and filter changes it has caused me any trouble as far as maintenance either. I feel lucky I jumped on this tractor because it’s been great. Cheers👍
