A quick story about how I got my n64 console followed by my first game I recieved
thanks Dad for making my birthday special
and thanks Kirran for suggesting Mario Kart 64♥️😀

Thanks for sharing such nice memories that the N64 gave you and your family. One of the main reasons I collect old games and consoles as they always remind me of some of the happiest times of my life. 😎

Great story! I remember getting my n64. It was like 2 in the morning at a 24 hour Walmart and i bought the Star Wars Podracing game edition. Bought the expansion pack the same trip too. Good memories ❤️ Thanks for sharing yours.

A 24 hour walmart thats cool I dont think I we have 24 hour walmarts in Montreal so that is pretty cool that you have one where you located. That is awesome you where able to get some n64 goodnews at 2 am along with great game ✌️😀

Love the story, buddy. You're right, your parents are awesome. I bought my N64 the day golden eye released. That game is the only reason i bought the console, lol. Queued up all night for that game.😂

@@raza_is_retro yeah, I'd just left high school and started working that summer. The boss gave me the morning off work. I normally started at 6:30am but the store didn't open until about half nine. I'd been queuing up since about 10:00pm the night before. I did the same for the "be here now" oasis album that summer. Ahhh, to be 16 again.😂

Nice story! You can't be disappointed with that one! Mario Kart 64 is fantastic! I only received videogames as a gift from my parents, once.. well, technically twice, as it was Christmas, and a few weeks later for my birthday.. but they had just split up one purchase into two gifts. 😅

Thank you legend and yes its a good thing I listened to my sister. It seems like most people ended up getting games for bday or holidays which makes sense. Your bday is a few weeks after christmas, when is your birthday if you dont me asking. Mine is the day after Christmas haha :D

The Raza N64 origin story!! man I was just playing Clay Fighters Directors cut and it is a fun title BUT it ain’t no Mario Kart, that’s for sure. Glad your sister stepped up to the plate and influenced your decision 🤘

That was a beautiful story, I can't believe that you're not an old man though And only 33 years old, You are a fraud Saying you are retro When you're still a child 😂😂😂 , Like yourself me and my brothers only got games For birthdays or during holidays, I actually agree with your sister As she made the best choice of game 😂 , Love that intro, I think your brother would be proud , Raza You're a legend, Always a joy to hear your voice.

@@raza_is_retro I do have plans to tell some stories myself, Ideally I would like To talk about a console or game Whilst one of my kids is playing it So after I've finished speaking they could give their opinion of the game,These videos would be family friendly stories Without me swearing Or putting in inappropriate jokes For a change, Only problems my kids have no interest in taking part in this Ha ha ha
