After about 8months of waiting (thanks to COVID-19) I finally got to attend NYSC Orientation camp. I was posted to Sokoto state so my camp was at Wamakko and I wasn't pleased.
Compared to stories from other camps, sokoto was definitely boring lol but i still enjoyed my stay because of the amazing people i met. Also, I was mostly in the camp clinic attending to sick corpers so I didn't get attend a lot of the programs/activities which i'm not complaining about because the clinic was fun and I had more ample time to sleep lol
The vlog will basically show what the camp at wamakko looks like and few activities.

The camps are definitely built alike cause my camp was exactly like this in Kano except that our toilets were cleaner 🌚.... OBS saved my life too! I literally avoided everything and still enjoyed freebies 🤣🤣🤣.. I’m glad you had fun dorling 😍 P.s!!! The “idi” on your camp besties can swallow you 🤣🤣🤣

How do I join any of the activities like the clinic, obs etc

@@nkemsamuelnnanna clinic is strictly for medical graduates. So if you are a medical graduate then you will be sent there... if not you can volunteer to join other groups of your choice. All the information will be relayed to you at camp.

@@nkemsamuelnnanna it’s easy if you studied a medical course like microbiology, medicine, nursing, pharmacy among others, once you arrive at the camp, go straight to the clinic there and offer your services.. Same with OBS, go straight to the person in charge of the studio and tell them you are interested. The whole idea is that you offer your services and make sure to do it on time. If you are late, they can make their selections and you will be left out

I went by flight like I said in the video. You can also go by road but you’ll have to make your findings on that

As at dec 2020 it was around 55k when I booked. You should check the rate for when you want to book

How does someone remobilise to a different state and what happens if that person gets accepted or rejected

They give out redeployment forms in the camp for you to apply for redeployment to a different state and they can approve or reject your request. Your best bet will be to get someone outside (someone who works with nysc) to work it for you.
