Thank you! Yes, nature IS really healing. I think we often forget that, in our busy days.

Hi! I'm your 368th sub. I have this habit of marking my first meeting with a channel which I believe has a great potential to grow. Thank you for sharing your beautiful off grid cabin in the Norwegian woods. You have a great refuge in here with nature. I love your narrative and your story-telling. I'd like to stay here (metaphorically camping online) to see more of your peaceful videos.

Greetings from Fredrikstad! Gorgeous cabin! Easy to see how she spoke to you. Last but not least- great to learn of another brave soul surviving (thriving) without a driver's license! Norway's a very bikeable country, all told.

Yes! I managed fine with my bike this summer, all alone and without a car. And welcome, Fredrikstad! 😊

I enjoyed your video and I can honestly say that your property and home would be my ideal as well. I love the seclusion and being in the midst of nature with a wonderful view. I live in the desert of southeast Washington State so the scenery here is very different than yours! Some of my ancestors came from Trondheim however I have never been to Norway myself. I look forward to more of your videos. Good luck with your channel.

@kimbaoverby8728 Thank you so much! The place is indeed surrounded by nature and it's very calming being there. A big contrast from the city. I can image the desert being quite something else! The majority of my ancestors are from Norway, with a few from Finland. But we had several migrating to America too. That was quite normal in Norway in the 1800's.

Sharing publicly singlehood i am well acquainted; however your wording choice "family life partner" is truly hip...spot on. Recently my friend referred to her partner as Valentine...we laughed as children again. Hoping with sincere thanks to your home video and candid woman to woman singlehood journey ... Wishing you peaceful content seasons, Valentine enriched mutually.

As beautiful as your surroundings are and having a long standing house, I'm too accustomed to the modern tools to want to live without. Obviously you have a PC and mobile and camera's to make your UTube experience, a must would indoor WC, plus the convenience of not and cold water. For good reasons you made this choice and willing to accept the inconveniences. Wish you much success.🌹

Thank you so much! The cabin is not my main home, so I manage fine without indoor toilet and hot water for a weekend or holiday stay. We have a strong cabin culture in Norway, that you basically can devide into two categories; those who want all the necessities, like they have at home - and those who can do without and with more simple solutions. You are more likely to find beautiful, untouched spots like mine when you opt for the latter. They are cheaper to buy too.

It may be that in a previous life you have belonged there. I wrote a book "Past Lives and Why They Matter" available on Amazon. But essentially you have your genetic history of course that depends on cells and DNA but you have a spiritual heritage of you as a spirit. When we die we leave our body and then go off and find a new body. We enter that little baby about to be born and then again our life begins.
