Today I talk/walk you through 24 hours of off-grid living in a cozy cabin, alone in the woods with my dog. I talk about my off-grid systems for heating, running water, electricity, cooking and more. I also find the time for some skiing, firewood chores, banjo pickin', and a wood fired sauna. Hope you enjoy! CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE for access to my channels original music or my Norman and cabin merchandise:

Here's is the link to the EcoFlow fridge and power stations I use,

Hi I’m an Alaskan Athabaskan and very happy and proud to see what you have done with the skills of my people thank you so much for your amazing videos I have to say I have learned from you this time around. And am very grateful and happy to come across your videos and I will continue to watch so I can get back to my place back in the woods of my long lost life of where I grew up the city is just not for me and I knew that just came to help take care of my dad who has recently passed he is no longer suffering so not need for sadness cause death is a part of life and we all knew that. Now I am ready to go back to my life on my land back home after I save up to rebuild there Watching your videos really gives me so much hope and focus on where I need to be 😊❤. Keep up the good work. My village is Venetie ❤ & Arctic Village. ❤

I put a rain water collection at my cabin 4 years ago and it’s hands down one of the best systems I put in. It’s one of those “I don’t know how I lived without it” kinda things. You won’t regret it

absolutely. in fact the acid content interacting with the system is my only concern. I've got more air pollution than some.

I am very envious of your lifestyle. I think you are what nature intended man to be. When using a knife, curl your fingers and let the knife be guided by your knuckles. That way you won't cut your fingers off. I worked in a restaurant as a teenager and that is how I was taught. It has served me well.

Got to be the best of off grid videos i have ever seen. You are at the top bro. Your story, your attitude, your whole story is well made. I feel you have a good support network and if not it makes it even better. Its all so well thought out. Your family is great and supportive of your venture i believe. So keep it up, have a blast enjoying nature and being self sufficient. I say a prayer for you and yours. God Bless the dog and all you love. You have got it going on bro like you deserve.

This was the perfect video to see how the daily cabin life goes at your place. I must say that Norman is the most German Shepherd looking Husky I've ever seen. He's so cool to watch and I look forward to seeing him in every one of your videos. I'm looking forward once again to seeing you rebuild that dilapidated wood shed.

Your are doing a fantastic job with video. May I offer one little tip. Dawn dish washing detergent will take the oil right out of skin on your hands. If you use some dish washing gloves you can protect your hands and they will not dry out and crack. It took me years to figure this one out. All the best ...

WoW! A hour and 15 minutes to charge the power station. Amazing. Regarding carrots most dogs enjoy carrot pieces as treats. Excellent snacks for training as they are non fat and good for them. The night shot of the lit up cabin looks like a calendar picture at 25:18 Thanks for a great video and I'll take your videos over watching the news any day of the week. >@^_*@

In regards to your 6 year old expired pancake mix.... many years ago, my brother and I were helping my 80ish parents move. I was working in the basement clearing things out. I came across canned pears in a Mason jar that were about 50 yrs old. I was ready to dispose of the pears, when my mom said... don't throw those pears out, I'll eat them. They looked fermented and really gross. I would have loved to see the look on her face eating the pears 😮

What do you need pancake mix for? You've got eggs, milk and flour. 1 egg, 1 cup milk, 0,5 cup flour, 0,5 teaspoon baking soda, a pnich of salt. That ought to get you 3-4 american pancakes. Nice to save for later, even eating cold.

Can I have two question? * A bit "indiscrete" one: You said in this video, that you have a wife. But the title on the thumbnail is "Alone in Alaska", etc., and I remeber that I saw her in a few previous video. How do you live together exactly, I just ask this out of pure curiosity, if the question is "harsh", just ignore it! And sorry for that. * Other than some KZfaq (or other) ad and/or promotion revenue, what do you make for a living? I mean, you just showed in this video, one of your regular days. But you used gasoline (for several purposes), got food you can't really harvest/catch there. You have to buy it somehow, and I really can't image how you can afford it, if all your days are like this. Maybe you have a remote daytime job, or you have great like crypto investments or how? Thank you a lot if you answer!
