This was an absolutely amazing story, that I could not have watched at a better time. For the past 10 months ive been wallowing over the biggest buck of my life. I was forced to let him walk after not being able to count his points while I had a shot of him in range. As the dense woods lit up with more light over the next several minutes he moved out of shootable range and I clearly counted 8 big points. This left me feeling sank into a funk the rest of the season and through the year now of 2020. I see now that maybe it is time to let him go (in my mind) and try to focus on the upcoming season. Thank you so much for the content. I sincerely mean that, best of luck coming from the Northern LP of Michigan.

CONGRATS!!! That is a very nice buck and story. Like most, listened to podcast and waited to watch the story. The one question I have that was not covered in the podcast or video, was why the change in the decision to pull the trigger this time on "Frank" compared to passing on "Holyfield"? If to personal to share, I understand. Then one comment, "Take the blinders off, and enjoy the hunt." I think this story shows how someone can get so focused on harvesting that one animal. They might lose sight of other potential opportunities and the enjoyment of the hunt. You do somewhat mention this in both story platforms. So, I hope it is not looked at in a negative way. Because the work you have put in and will do on your hunting property. Is going to lead to some more very enjoyable hunting stories and we all look forward to hearing about them as they unfold.

Great buck. Sticking with it sure pays. I hunt presquisle co. Never see deer like that. Dnr management is terrible in Michigan. In Kansas everyone has to draw for a buck tag. Does are over the counter. I would see twelve to fifteen eight points a day. Will go out of state for sure for deer.
