It's very beautiful, as it always is when played by masterly musicians, as here, and it will just live on, in memory...when I first was aware, listening to Tatum and Webster as a lad, I became a player, lover, believer.

Dave is the best - just listen. He was nailing it at 17 and still to this day, there was never any doubt.

Roy Owen Haynes (born March 13, 1925) is an American jazz drummer. He is one of the numerous jazz nonagenarians. He won the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012.
