My Only One - Fakir/Ahiru Tribute

This is my AMV tribute to the Fakir/Ahiru pairing of the anime "Princess Tutu". And the video is basically from Fakir's POV on the relationship.
There are no subtitles in this video. ^^

And this is my very first AMV, so please don't hold that against me. ^^; I tried hard and worked a long time on this piece, even though my movie-maker program is pretty pathetic...

Thanks. ^^ This was my first AMV ever, so I didn't even know much about how to use Windows Movie Maker at the time. ^^; So there are no effects or anything. I learned about those later.

I'm really honored that you think so! ^^ I'm afraid I don't offer it for download, though. Too many people steal subless clips for reuse and I don't want my footage and AMV sequences cut up and used in other AMVs. :/

I can't say I really like Fakir and Duck as a romantic couple. Personally, I think the love they shared was platonic and more friendship based. I really loved how loyal Fakir was, how he's more then willing to be Duck's friend regardless if she's a bird or a girl.

Thank you! ^^ I had the idea building in my head quite awhile before I could actually make AMVs - which was one of the things that pushed me into learning. XD And I agree completely. They really make one another stronger and in my opinion, make the best team in the series (not to mention, I love the bickering and butting of heads at times XD Conflict is always a plus in my book).

Thanks :D lol I hated Fakir at first - he was such a jerk. But the way his and Ahiru's relationship evolved throughout the entire series was really amazing to me - it killed some very common anime stereotypes where characters and relationships are concerned. And it was very subtle - huge plus in my book. :3

Have you seen the series? It's from Act 10. The very beginning of it, nearly. He slashes her with a piece of glass from the window he broke through in the previous episode, which in turn causes her pendant to fall off when she runs away, and starts the whole plot for Act 10 :P

Thanks a lot. ^^ Unfortunately, I don't have it uploaded anywhere. I do have an account on AMV.org, but I purposely haven't put this, or my other two videos up there. The reason being is basically that I don't want other AMV makers to download the video and steal the clips, claiming as their own (which way too many people do). I wouldn't care as much if I didn't spend $200 out of my own pocket for all the DVDs, where I get my footage from.
