I'm 50 and over the years I've seen 2 ghosts but the most terrifying encounter was when I didn't see the ghost but it turned off 3 light switches when I was in the shower.I was alone in the house so there is no explanation other than a ghost and I'm getting chills writing this and it happened 30 years ago.

I've seen 2 ghosts too. The scariest was when I was about 7. My father was built our new house, it bordered an old cemetery, the second summer there me and my mom were watching tv, everyone else had gone to bed, about 9 there was a knock on our door, now we're in a very rural area and the closest neighbor was about 1/10 of a mile from us and they were my grandparents. My mom went to answer the door and I followed her, she let out a scream slammed the door shut and nearly bowled me over as she turned to run. She saw what she described as a white mist floating across the lawn towards the cemetery. I was scared of that place until I was a teenager.

I heard a ghost singing at an old hotel here in Tamworth, Staffordshire in England in the early 2000's. Apparently she was the ghost of a maid who had died in a fire at the hotel during the English Civil War in the 1600's, which had devastated the side of the hotel I was in at the time [the bathroom lol]. It was like listening to somebody singing from the top of a hill in many ways, there but far away !!!!

long time listener and member of the forum here. the night of the tate murders my brother's friend, Pete Altobelli came running to our house crying ''they've murdered Jay, they've murdered Jay''. Pete was a make up artist at the studios and relative of the Altobelli of the killing spree. will never forget that very hot night in Inglewood CA. Los Angeles is quite a town full of the most interesting stories on earth, i know lots of them, my dad was an editor at Glen Glenn studios in the old days.

It's nice to be able to relate to something someone says about strange happenings because most people understandably don't believe it. Then when it happens to you, you get a new perspective so it's nice to share your stories with someone who can relate. Years ago when I smoked, I had a pack of cigarettes with a lighter laying on top sitting on my deep freezer. All of a sudden the cigarette pack FLEW across to the other side of the room and at the same time the lighter went straight up and hit the ceiling. This happened not too long after my dad passed away. I honestly believe it was him telling me to quit smoking. I eventually did but it was years after that. Then about 15 years after that when my mom passed away I was cleaning out her home with the help of my daughter. We walked past a small shelf that had her teapots sitting there and the arm of a teapot just broke off right as we walked past it. Neither one of us was anywhere near it and even if we were it would have taken more force than us just walking by for it to shatter like it did. Very strange. When I was very young (10 or so) I dreamed about a car accident and it happened the very next day exactly the same as the dream. There is some truth to all of this which cannot always be explained.

I'm a reasonably new sub. I'm glad your channel came up. I have been involved in paranormal work for over 60 years. Likely longer than that, I just didn't realize it wasn't the norm when I was a child. Hearing the coyotes howl on this video made me think of the wolves that cross the back forty of my property often. Have you ever heard the wolves singing? I often walk out there and have gotten to know the alpha male and beta female of the pack. (breaks my heart. The handsome male I named Grey Ghost((Boo for short)) is getting old. Soon one will challenge him and he will be no more)They seldom let any of the others come too close to me. I ask for their advice on things I'm having trouble with. Their song can help carry your question to the universe. It has never failed to help me. They encircled my farm the night my husband was killed. They knew before I did and cried out their mournful song as I felt my heart breaking. More humans must understand that we are all connected and some of the best friends one can have are of the animal kind.

My Husband was murdered six years ago, we had been together since I was 14 and married at 16. One night the most Majestic Stag came into my backyard and I know it's strange and some may not believe me but these amazing Animal was speaking to me!! I don't know how but it soothed my Soul.... Anyway, it was an experience I will never forget. I've always been able to tell and see things others could not. God bless you for sharing your experience and making it easier for me to share. In 1983 or 84, I was in LA on business. Whenever I was in LA I would drive up to Cielo Dr to see the fence and Garage of the Tate house. This time, there was a home for sale on Cielo and the realtor was holding an open house. It was way beyond my price range but wanted to see the house inside. I can't remember which home it was, but I think it may have been the house your friend owns that has very active spirits in. Since I had visited that open house, I have had many nightmares of being stabbed, slashed and chased by someone. This is the first time I have thought that it may have been one of the killers from the Night of August 8th, 1969. I never see faces but the knives always hit me or slash. I wake up disturbed. Do you think i may have "picked them up" and brought them back to Minnesota with me? Very weird nightmares.

I love collecting deceased celeb autographs, it sounds weird but i get a sort of energy from it. I had Sharon's and Marilyn's. If i could afford owned items i'd collect that too. I live in Australia but really want to go do a whole tour thing over there and spend the night in haunted places. Your stories were so interesting, way better than the hyped up ghost hunter type shows where they see a speck of dust or hear a little noise and go on and on about how it's a spirit lol. Hi Scott 😊 my boyfriend and I had the pleasure of meeting you on the Charles Manson tour many years ago. At the end of the tour you gave everyone a piece of the fireplace from the house on Cielo drive with a book of matches from El Coyote. It was a fascinating and memorable experience. Having lived in LA for over 20 years we were surprised to find how close we lived at some time to notorious historical sites. I have pointed out many of these places to friends who are shocked to find they too have ties to such nefarious locations. I love to blow their minds with the (not so )fun facts hidden in plain sight throughout the neighborhoods of our beautiful city.

Yes Scott, you own a lot of "bad juju" as they say! However, you lovingly tend to these celebrities memories....therefore it balances out a lot of the bad energy that objects hold onto. I always think you are so respectful when talking about important folks that it is a blessing to them. They say you die two deaths one when your physical body passes and again when Noone says your name any longer. That is very sad to me. My husband and I frequently talk about our favorites that have passed, keeping their memories alive. For many celebrities you are their hope of being talked about and remembered. There's a few of you out there. Yourself, Jordan The Lion (Jordan), Grim Life Collective (Michael), Scott On Tape (Scott)...you all are wonderful at what you do! You remind us all of the wonderful history of Hollywood. I'm always interested every time you post, wondering what will be next. I love the attention to detail and research every one of you do. Occasionally do y'all get something wrong, yep. However, all of you are great at correcting any misses in your research. I don't consider us death hags, but more historians. If it weren't for you Scott, there would be so much misinformation out there about the Tate/ Labianca murders it'd be ridiculous! (Not that there aren't some crazies out there, there are). I'll always appreciate the efforts you go to to produce quality information to the masses! Love and respect always!

i agree, i did Scott's tour in the mid 90's in one of the old hearses he used to own before the hearses finally breathed their last breath

I just recently encountered your channel and I’m amazed at the coincidences of somewhat obscure or random places near and far that we have been. I went to Blessed Sacrament School, graduating the eighth grade in 1970. There was a creepy priest at the church, not a paranormal creepy, but the nuns who ran the school definitely kept him away from the male students. I grew up in the hills way above the Hollywood Bowl. We used to ride our bikes down Outpost Dr making our way to Blessed Sacrament for school. I remember some shops across Sunset from the church/school, but the really good shops and stores were on Hollywood Blvd (the creepy wax museum and the occult store which we would get thrown out of for being too young, and so many more). I know your museum didn’t exist back then, but it sure could have. Lots of hippies, excellent head shops. My friends and I rode our bikes to Cielo after Sharon Tate was murdered, and got turned away by the cops. We had ridden our bikes down to the Ambassador the day after Bobby Kennedy was shot. Also against our parents wishes. I have a few good friends from England and I have visited London many times. They took me to the area where the Cray twins were from, and the stories got more incredible over the years. I remember seeing your hearse and tour’s mentioned on the news after the OJ murders. And, probably saw you on Ghost Adventures. Although, I stopped watching after the fifth season so maybe not. When I think of all the landmarks, homes, businesses and shops that have disappeared from Hollywood, LA, and the Valley over the years, I just found it very interesting that you were able to preserve parts of. Thanks a lot for doing that.

They definitely see us. I saw a vision of a friend's 19 year old daughter who passed from cancer. She was dancing and her mom said, she had recently been doing that same dance with her other daughter.

Thanks! When I was a kid, I too would stuff old clothes, usually with a Styrofoam wig head, and hang it from the tree in my yard, glad to know I'm not the only one.

Thank you for sharing these stories Scott, so creepy. The way you describe that figure that appeared a couple of times after you acquired the fireplace bricks from 10050 Cielo Drive reminds me of an article I read about Michele Morgan that's stayed with me. She apparently said she always felt ill at least in the Cielo House, even though she had it built herself. I've cut and paste the bits from the article that have relevance (see below). It was written by a man called Robert Matzen, you can find it on his website of the same name under the title "Almost Isla." If this article is true, it's incredibly creepy... (For those who don't know, the French actress Michele Morgan had the house at 10050 Cielo Drive built in 1941-42 when she was living in LA. ) "The address was 10050 Cielo Drive in Beverly Hills, just off Benedict Canyon. In her autobiography, published in France, Morgan tells how her agent had advised she place her a new house on available cliff-side land at the end of a quiet street because its dramatic location would make good publicity, and indeed, many movie star magazines depicted every angle of the interior and exterior. However, in 1941, the spot was also remote. Very remote. She said, “This wild hill above Beverly Hills was quite isolated. I faced the former estate of Rudolf Valentino [Falcon Lair]. At the bend in the canyon was Ray Milland’s home, closer to Harold Lloyd’s. Still, I would have had time to scream for an hour and die 20 times before anyone heard me.” "Despite the fact that the home was new construction and smelled of fresh-cut lumber, things went bump in the night immediately after move-in. She said, “In vain I reason with myself, tell myself that a new house, barely completed, cannot be haunted, but I am afraid.” It seemed logical there were prowlers-but no one was ever seen. She bought a guard dog, a Great Dane that took over the house but turned out to be as frightened as she was. Finally, her pal Madeleine LeBeau, another young French actress of only 18, moved in with Michèle so both could experience what they finally determined were ghosts." Michèle Morgan returned to France after the war and enjoyed a long and decorated cinematic career. In 1969, when she heard where Sharon Tate had been murdered, Michèle was shocked but not surprised. In her book she asked, “How could a house without a past, which I had built, be haunted by its future?” Me again! Surreal and so creepy to think that someone could potentially be haunted by something terrible that hasn't happened yet. That seemed to be Michele's final take on it.
