Man, this is such a Tom game. It doesn’t require you to read, just to do what it tells you and work logically. I don’t get the occasional irrational urge to shout at him, because we all make spaghetti piping mistakes! Yes, even you Factorio God-Kings. Truly, I never thought I’d enjoy an abstract factory game. Never mind watching someone play one, but I *really* want to see it expand into the mad, crazy universe. My only hope is that they require you to keep up production of your old shapes say ‘X shapes per minute’ so that you can’t forever be redesigning your factory. Edit: Or make it so that your space parts require shape upkeeps, or some additional currency to expand your space platforms - anything to mean that you are, to a degree, encouraged to build up and make your existing factory / belt layout more complex, at least after the initial stages. Heck, or have some sort of ‘hostile shape’ mechanic where you have to match shapes with their counter shapes in order to nullify/expand into an area. Shape-shard clouds, or streams, or something. That’d be epic to see running. But it’s pretty amazing as it is, I cannot wait to see someone expanded across that absurdly big map! Really, such a simple concept has potentially amazing, entirely abstract, potential! :-)

@@thefinal9923In this context an embargo date is just the date information/videos about a game can be released. The term comes from the original "trade embargo" which is a ban trade/sales activity.

@@thefinal9923 What they mean is that Tom got a code to play the game before the public release. This code has terms attached that stipulate that Tom can't upload game footage before a certain date. This is the embargo date, and usually the same date is agreed upon with all content creators who get an early copy. This is good, because creators have ample time to record/edit their gameplay or review, as there is no race to give that first look for an anticipated release. Sometimes, publishers abuse it to stifle negative coverage by putting the embargo date at or shortly after the release date, when the most sales happen. Breaking an embargo will probably result in publishers being less likely to trust Tom with a review copy in the future.

I do really hope Tom returns for the full game as this was fantastic :D I tell you though, the combining of shapes, and editing them and stuff reminds me alot of that other factory game where you made Letters, loved that one too
