tbf, in defense of Trippier, alot of the passes have been either sideways or backwards from the entire team, plus unlike Saka who has had Walker as overlapping support, Trippier has been providing width on the left by himself as Foden drifts infield, agreed he shouldn't be played out of position. but Shaw shouldn't have been taken since he was injured so it was a huge gamble using a squad spot on someone that had no guarantee of being fit

nah the netherlands werent as bad as England. In terms of performances before the semis, English have been the worst out of the top teams

England and France have been really bad considering the talent they have in the pool of players available, bad squad selection for England considering the style England play and god knows what's happening in France
