To be fair, this is how you implement new and interesting card effects in this game, making things work in some way like what we have but with new and perhaps interesting restrictions requires some elaboration.

@@ich3730 Who says adding consistency to decks is what could be interesting? It's not like you could play without searching nowadays, or that this effect could be abbreviated more (aside from having on-summon effects simply trigger on _every_ summon, not just specifically Normal or Special summon). However, I said that the interesting novelty may come from the restrictions on the effect (such as locking you out of this or that, or only being activatable under certain conditions). Have you tried trimming down the Effect text of something like Promethean Princess?

Finally finished watching the episode, at least you had a good time even if the deck is just objectively no good. Hoping the opponent doesn't read your cards is not a valid win condition, and ritual summoning is just very inefficient for the most part. I liked that you put Gamma, in decks that search a lot with spells and a meta where everyone shotguns Maxx "C" it always feels good to have it. Finally, I would have loved to see more experimental stuff like libromancer hungry burger, not sure about the synergy but at least if you make the deck 60 cards to fit everything you are less likely to see the garnets.

Nouvelle is a really fun deck but I agree that it is insanely skill intensive for little pay off but what makes it fun to me is that it forces the opponent to interact with it. There are a lot of frustrating things about it like how the level 5 needs to be summoned by a Nouvelle monster to get the quick effect tribute on it. Overall It was an interesting to see your first list which I'm sorry to say was awful into it getting better and better. I personally had more success running each of the ritual spells at 2 while running level 1 pendulum and ritual at 3 while going the rest of the ritual monsters were 2 or 1 of's. On the ending note of you can't top deck in this deck, that's the point of the field spell which is actually the best card in the archtype closely followed by the level 1 pendulum and the continuous trap. Overall I enjoyed watching your progress with the deck.

So here is something pretty cool I've been running with Nouvelle, krawlers. You can use the lvl 6 to target one of your rituals, trigger it, get rid of an opponents monster then get 2 more krawlers from deck, ending with 4 material to go UW Goddess for another yoink, or go Dyna mondo into UW Goddess

I've been thinking about this for some time, I think why a lot of people's not subscribe percentage is so high is because of the autoplay feature. I cannot tell you how many times that I fall asleep watching something on KZfaq and I've watched like 36 videos in between the time that I fell asleep to the time of wake up , but just letting you know I have subscribed ;)

I started playing these guys on ladder, haven’t gotten out of Plat yet cuz I just haven’t been playing much. But I’ve made a rather consistent version of the deck, a 40 card version of the final Impcantation engine variant, with a pretty decent win streak. It can even go second with good opening hand. And yeah, Regular Preparation of Rites is a much better toolbox. Lets you search exactly what you need and lets you recover your ritual spell from grave so you can play just one of each recipe ritual spell since they’re so searchable. Plus if you go for one of ‘em and it’s negated prep turns it into a mulligan since you’re probably gonna have a target in deck so you can just activate the ritual spell again.

This is the deck I am currently using! I'm...not to be too pun-tastic, loving it. Noticed in the first build that Nephthys, the Sacred Flame isn't in the extra. Hope she gets added later, she's a fantastic boss monster for the deck that is REALLY easy to get to.

Duel 54 was hilarious because even though Ash was crossed out from turn 1, Hardleg used his counter trap against it AND THEN as soon as Branded saw it dropped against them they got war flashbacks and conceeded 😂
