I once knew a man with 175 fishing rods. His name was too familiar to be said in public. His pb bass ate a bluegill bigger than your pb catfish. His fishing knowledge is not effected by willis the evil super villian. We call him Mr Mondo, The ol' sniff, LFG, and sometimes Referred to by simply "The fishing god." 👍 Best mount ive ever seen. Caught my PB bass this year!!! Getting a replica mount of her. I caught her on March 17th She weighed 10.1 was 25&3/8 inches long and 19&7/8 inches around she’s a freakin mondo great videos LFG I also ordered my first favorite rod yesterday! Sadly it wasn’t one of the googan rods but my girlfriend is getting into fishing so I bought her the White Bird combo. I can’t wait to get it and take my girl fishing

I've fished lake Fork more than all other lakes combined but haven't fished it in a while. My PB there is 9 but lost one at the boat that was easily 13+. Found 2 bass floating dead on different occasions that were 12&13 LBS. Awesome mount btw.

I live in omaha. Buy poles at schools. The defender series. Loved them until 2 weeks after I got it it snapped in half on a catfish eat I ng a chatterbait. Fish cld not have beem more than 12 lbs. Dont understand how it snapped in half of pole. Went back exchanged it for same pole. 3 days later tip snappex catching large. Took that back and got a 3rd one. 2 weeks later im fishimg and eyelets start popping out as I'm setting the hooks. :(

Yes, and I think that I speak for all the Fishing Freaks, we do want an extensive review of not only your rod(s), but those of the other Googans! Give it to us! I saw the price tag, holy bass lips! So, YES (at least I personally) need a review of all of their Supernatural traits, so that My version of OSG would be ok with the purchase.

That is an amazing habitat display and one heck of a beautiful bass. The other day I caught my PB. She was 25” long and 18.5” in girth. My scale showed 9 pounds 2 ounces which shocked me. I just knew she was over 10. She was caught on June 15th. If I had caught her during the spawn she would definitely been 10+. I was going to hold out for a 10+, but my 10 year old son was with me and netted her. I kid you not, the jig fell out of her mouth the second that my son netted her. I’m getting a replica made by New Wave Taxidermy in Stuart, FL. I paid the deposit today. When I’m dead and gone my son will be able to show it off and tell people about that special moment we shared. By the way, my son caught a 6 pound 4 ounce at the boat ramp that morning while I was getting the boat ready. Good times!

Your rod looks amazing but at that price ill have to start saving and maybe in 2 or 3 years i can one. And tbh your mount looks amazing too, i love the closed mouth as well, and again who can afford mounts anyways. If i catch any monster pikes,walley or perch up her in Ontario i take pictures and hope the shots were good

Had to go back and watch that grainy old vidya, + 1 for doing a In-Depth rod review. I'm curious about the what seems to be a think base on the butt end of the rod, and the profile of the bend, and if you could elaborate on your preferences for flip/punching rods versus a pitch/frog rod.

That is such a beautiful mount. Thing is perfect. My PB is 8lbs 6oz and a 6lb 2oz smallmouth. The LM’s mouth was such a big bucketmouth I could make a fist and it would fit inside it’s mouth. Thing was a beast. Caught it on a Hula Popper around midnight, wanna say it was a full moon or close to it. Massive downed oak in the water I caught it by. Smallie I caught on an orange jighead tipped with a leech at the mouth of a river that goes into Lake Michigan. Good times!

Hey LFG.... Seriously, feed Gary better food. Goldfish are extremely nutrient poor, you're feeding him the equivalent of lettuce. Please look into some real food for him. Shit, you could have a tiny 300g pond outside with bluegill, shad, etc etc. They'll do their thing. Otherwise, he seriously needs better food.

Agreed. Have been keeping fish for years. goldfish and feeder fish are notorious for having parasites and being unhealthy as well as not having much nutrition if at all.

That’s a nice mount. The next 50” muskie I get is going in the bass cave. And definitely a big bass if I get one. So far biggest is only 6lbs. Pennsylvania isn’t known for its giants.

Both are excellent mounts, color depends a lot on were the fish was caught, i used to do fish mounting and was good but this Taxidermist was better. I used Pictures to mount fish to get the color close to what it should be and, after the fish is dead, color is not as good as on a live fish. i used the actual skin, but Salmon and ocean fish are usually mounted from a fiberglass form at least when i did it. Enjoy.

The best mount I have ever seen my neighbor did (taxidermist ray Copland) or as I called him poppa ray lol I was there when I guy brought in a 10 plus pound bass.... but this guy was crappie fishing.... so he caught a hand size black crappie and the bass ate it and the dorsal fins got stuck in its mouth and that's how it was mounted the big bass blowing up on the already hooked crappie

My PB also came in March on Fork and on a jig. Just after dark during a full moon phase. Just a couple ounces shy of 10 but hey who’s counting. Didn’t get any measurements sadly but have a good pic for memories.

I went to my local cheap store and they got a crap ton of stuff from gander mountain and they got huge trout lures that are like bigger then what you world normally be bigger then a fish you would catch in a lake for only 10$ and are probably for lake trout or Muskie
