@@vikashtripathi1983 That is great news. Yes that is definitely on the way to TFR. You will want to see that result for at least 2 full years.

Hi Stephen my husband is diagnosed with CML and he is taking Tasigna for six months now and his PCR is 0.04 but he got acne in his arms and legs like goosebumps and his eyes always hurt him

Thank you for your comment. Sorry to hear about the challenges your husband is having with the Tasigna. The PCR number is good, so maybe you can talk to his doctor about trying to reduce the dosage to see if that reduces the issues. Good luck!

L248V is a mutation, meaning that certain TKI drugs will not work as well if you have this mutation.

Hi Malang -- So sorry to hear about the issue getting the Tasigna. Do you know how long it will not be available? What does your doctor recommend? Can you take another medicine?
@malanggul2159 ай бұрын
@@healCML 3 or 4 months it not be available...some time hydroxy urea I take but tasigna rs proper medican and it not available.... I m afraid the disease is not come back again..
@healCML9 ай бұрын
@@malanggul215 Oh so sorry to hear that. Are you able to take another drug, such as Gleevec? One thing you could try to do is get a PCR in the next month or two to see if the numbers are going back up or staying steady. Just an idea.

Thank you so much for your comment. Every lab is different, but my PCR report doesn't get very exact. Most of the time it says less that 0.01%. Other times it will say there are no bcr-abl cells identified.
