I had my nexus 6p until the battery life was about 30 sec. :/ I wish that was an exaguration but now I have the pixel 3a and the camera on that is amazing!

Lee xiang I’m not sure you can legally import them from the USA but! Malaysia has some super cool isopods in the wild! You could collect some (if it’s legal to do so in your country) and try culturing you’re local species! Thanks for watching! ☺️👍🏼

How do you keep mold down? Or do you not worry about it since they’ll eat it? I have armadillidium vulgare and the enclosure isn’t even that damp, but I keep getting yellow mold or fungus. Should I be concerned?

I would always try to make sure there isn’t any mould. Stocking your culture bins with spring tails is really important as they will remove/control mould well :). Hope that helps!

Ahh good idea I do have some spring tails. I didn’t even think of putting them in with the isopods

guerratiburon they did very much! My colony ate almost all of the 2 fish I gave them overnight!

Are they can breath underwater like they cousins?

No they can drown! Only aquatic ones should be given aquatic environments. Even deep water dishes with smooth sides are dangerous for them in Bioactive enclosures

What causes mites in isopods...

Too much food in the enclosure! It feeds the mites and their population explodes. Try to always put just enough food for the isopods to consume. Thanks for watching!

Also I dont know if you do but washing your hands and tools in between containers might help stop the powder blues from spreading

Vivariums in the Mist doesn't ship animals/vivariums/or dry goods. . . . . what good is the advertisement if hardly anyone can capitalize on it. I get animals but not even dry goods? crazy. Great video though man! keep that isopod content coming!

They actually have a huge list of resellers that offer their products! All you have to do is google “iso grub” and it’ll come up!

U got every type of isopod, I had a nice collection but all they containers got raided by little black ants🤦🏾‍♂ but I will start over soon, I will also purchase some food from paul tha plug

You need to put a mesh on the vents to stop things getting in and out :-)

I tihnk I am the bane of Isopods cuz besides springtails I see nothing else after adding others. I have leaf litter, moss, its moist, and i add a repashy bug food or something that was recommended.

Sorry to hear that! What kind of isopods? What is your substrate composed of? Depending on the species, some isopods dig deep into the soil and rarely come out. Thanks for watching!
