Жыл бұрынI am completely devastated to announce that Tinkerbelle, my pet tortoise, the one I've had for 20 years, the mother to our baby tortoises, had died. This came as a complete shock as her health declined in just a matter of days. This is probably one of the most difficult animal videos I've ever had to document, but I wanted to show everything on my channel. The good parts and the bad parts of working with animals. When animals die, it is 100% the most difficult part of the job. I absolutely loved Tinkerbelle and it breaks my heart to think that she's gone. Luckily, she left behind a legacy and we will never forget her. RIP Tinkerbelle 😞

Tinkerbelle will be missed...but never forgotten. She knew she was loved. Yes, losing a pet is very personal indeed. I would like to thank you for sharing her with many of us out here, we enjoyed seeing her. There is not much anyone can say other than we are so sorry she is gone. Corbin, you were given such a blessing with her.Many of us out here would have loved to have been able to have such a girl like Tinkerbelle. . She was special. Her babies are special......like their mama was.

I am happy she is in heaven with Tom the Turkey after those 20 years with such a great, and kind hearted person, and a person, who puts animals in the world they always deserved. It's always the hardest part of having a pet is losing a pet that you deeply love. Some people will just say... Well it was just a pet to get a new one. But it's not that simple when you care and love something so much and suddenly they are gone. It hurts badly. I wanted to give a little something to the Tinkerbell tree for her I'm very sorry for your loss Corbin. Time will heal & I'm happy to be able to support the animals in any way possible. *Virtual Hug* 💛

@@mrcatfish4666 it's for Tinkerbell's tree, I wish we could have saved Tinkerbell but I know money or any amount of money wouldn't save a pet. I tried that with my dog that had kidney problems. I was able to extend his life for one more year but after that I couldn't keep up with treatments. But if I can help support animals I will do so. ❤️

Oh, wow, Corbin. I’m so freaking sorry for your loss. I wish I could do or say something to ease your grief, but there aren’t any words. I’ve lost a pet family member and I think about her every day. I remember her silly things and her happy things and her comforting things. I encourage you to remember the best of Tinkerbell. Laugh about her terrible tortoise days (I love to reminisce about my girl pulling me off the porch and leaving me in the snow). You did absolutely everything you could to save her, and I hope that gives you comfort. I’m sending positive thoughts to your family during this time. 😢❤

You did the best for her, don’t ever think of ‘what if I did…’, I can see the passion and love you had for Tinkerbelle, such a good mum and friend to you for this long. Just know as a fellow animal lover, pet owner and student in canine behaviour. It’s so sad to see them pass away, mourn her loss but just know that you are a responsible owner and I commend you on showing how quick animals can deteriorate from ok to critically bad health. Grief is a long and slow process, many people can sympathise losing a pet, talk to people and get them tears out. Keeping grief in isn’t good, but just know that your animals lantics and education keep people happy. I send my condolences and love to you and your family from a fellow animal lover in the UK 🇬🇧❤

Ohhh, Corbin, big bear hug for you on this very sad day. I am so sorry for your painful loss of Tinkerbelle, your friend and family member for 20 years. Life would only be fair if our beloved pets lived as long as we did so we would never have to spend a moment apart. Hang in there, my friend. You're a REALLY good man and pet carer. Hang in there. That’s the sad thing about this case though. Tortoises live anywhere from 80-150 years. More, depending on the species. Tortoises aren’t usually ones you have to worry about passing in your lifetime. They’re generational pets. Being roughly 55-60, she still had so much time ahead of her. Of course, it’s horrible to lose any pet. But to lose one that would normally outlive you has to hurt even more.

Awwww. So sad. Thankyou for sharing your loss. It will help people to understand how sweet & gentle & vulnerable tortoises can be. I was “stuck” with Sheldon when my granddaughter couldn’t take him on a plane. That was 15 years ago. He is so curious & sociable. He makes me smile every day.

Oh, Corbin.😢 There are no words. We join you in your grief. We understand. We have all been through. The only downside of having an animal is this. There is comfort in knowing you have her five little legacies. And knowing that you gave her the best life. Tinkerbell gave you so much joy but you gave her so much, too. And her time here was good. She died with memories of you❤ These stuff happens, don't worry it's not just you who lost a pet... I've lost many dogs and puppies last year because of a virus, I all loved them and couldn't belive they were gone... but they were burried in our back yard where many of our pets were burried too, I had a chicken that died to along with some love birds...

Watched this onmy way to work in the train and I cried. I can't imagine the feeling of sadness to loose a pet that is part of one's life. I have 1 cat and 1 kitten and I love them so much. Losing a long time pet is so heartbreaking, ive experienced my dog dying and i had him for 6-7 years, we had him cremated... But even though they arent with you physically, theyll remain in your heart for all eternity❤

So, so sorry for your loss. You went so above and beyond for her!! As a shelter worker, I could only hope the animals I encounter end up in homes with even a fraction of this amount of love and care. She is at peace, and as painful as it is to lose a beloved pet so quickly and unexpectedly, the small silver lining is that for them, their discomfort was brief. You gave her an absolutely wonderful life.

Losing a beloved pet is one of the worst feelings in the world, and it happens over and over again in our lifetime. As horrible as it is to lose them, the joy of having them in our life and the completeness they bring to our world outweighs what every pet owner knows will come one day. I’m so sorry for your loss! I’ve been there… At the emergency vet till 4 AM… We fight as hard as we can for them and sometimes it’s just not meant to be. Sending you hugs and wishes for rest for yourself. You must be exhausted. Make sure to take care of yourself so you don’t get sick.

What a compassionate and knowledgeable soul you are, it pours out for anyone to see…. I’m so sad for you because, as all us animal caring humans know the very moment we invite the love of an animal into our hearts, we also invite heartbreak along with it, but, it still doesn’t stop us opening our hearts over and over again. Your tears had me in tears too and I wished I could hug you, so I’m sending a virtual hug instead and say on behalf of all the animals who are still awaiting your rescue, your nurturing and your knowledge so that they find a forever home, please keep opening that kind heart of yours. I hope laughter and sunshine has returned again , even if a tiny Tinkerbelle tortoise shaped shadow accompanies it. X

@@corbinmaxeyyou know you aren't the only one i lost 3 animals.. firstly my bunny which was in algeria we couldn't keep him and released him secondly my favorite turtle Which was accidently runned over by a car and survived my aunt didn't want to keep him and she released him i was so mad at her and THIRDLY My Parrot its Was MY FAVORITE bird i ever got in my entire life we was going on vacation and didn't want to bring him bc its chaotic in my other country so i letted my uncle keep him but by mistake while my uncle going to buy smth he letted the parrot in the home AND KNOW WHAT HE ACCIDENTLY ATE A TOXIC PARFUM 😭

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so hard to say goodbye, but think about how empty life would have been if you'd never known precious Tinkerbell. You gave Tinkerbell a happy home and made sure she knew she was loved so much. I know she loved you in return and would want you to try to think about the happy memories. ❤

Man, it is so heartbreaking to see a beloved pet go, I have tortoises of my own and they have become such an important part of my family. I assure you, Tinkerbelle couldn’t have asked for a better owner, she lived a great life thanks to you, and I’m sure she will remember you forever in heaven 🐢💚

Your right about losing animals is the worst part about having them as pets. I couldn't stop balling my eyes out when I saw the end when you showed Tinkerbelles grave, the good thing is Tinkerbelle is isn't suffering any more, and just because tinks body is gone doesn't mean shes gone for good her soul is still with you and her babys. Rest in peace Tinkerbelle 😢😭

O Corbin!! I'm so so sorry!!❤❤ Tinkerbelle was a wonderful light in our world and she taught us all so much about reptiles!! I am forever grateful for you and Tinkerbelle for all the things you both have taught me and countless other people!! When I was in Jr high I played a turtle in a play and from that point ToNi have forever loved turtles and tortoises!! They are amazing creatures!! Tfs her with all of us!! I pray for comfort for you and your family!!❤💙🙏🙏
