I've read that wonderful Sam passed away at 17 years old. What strikes me is how articulate, intelligent and wise he was, at such a young age. RIP beautiful Sam, thank you for this talk x

It hurts my heart to see this young man with progeria but it really encourages me to see that it doesn't hurt his to have it. An easy life is not your friend and if you're not challenged by something you have to work hard to overcome you're not realizing your potential because that's where we thrive (overcoming adversity)

I remember watching a documentary on Progeria many years ago (can't recall the name of it unfortunately). I hope they can eventually find ways to slow the disease down. These kids deserve longer lives 💜

There's liberation in accepting our limits, joy in surrounding ourselves with kindred spirits, excitement in chasing enrichment, and pure happiness in never missing out on life's celebrations. These are not just words, but truly valuable pieces of advice. Here's to a life well-lived!

That was said so well. I'm very ill and can't do a lot but I do try to think what I'm thankful for. I'm not homeless and I would be if people didn't help me. I don't have a lot of money, but my small disability check allows me to buy some supplements and better quality food which has helped me. A lot of people abandoned me when I was less fun, but one has been constant for a decade and when he got married I found a good friend in his wife. My ex mistrested me and abandoned me, even though he came back to apologize it did make me nervous to ever be in a relationship again. But I met a guy who patiently waited for me to sort my feelings out and we've been together for years. I'm sad I can't get married right now, but I'm thankful someone wants to marry a sick me that is so close to being perfect. 😊 But im gonna add to this what im thankful I can do. I hope this helps anyone.

What kind of medical condition does he have? I know it's off topic, it's just I've never seen it before. Edit; oh, in case anyone else wants to know, I clicked the link to the full video, where in the description it reads: "Sam was diagnosed with Progeria, a rare, rapid aging disease, at the age of 2." - A quick google search states it's actually "extremely rare". I suspected. I never heard of this or seen anyone with it before, at least that I can recall. No one in person anywhere for sure.

When we realize that even though we show our hate for God by our sin, he showed his love for us by paying for our sin. That means the God of the universe wants us to know him because we are valuable to him. When we understand that. Then true happiness is achieved. It blows my mind just to think the creator of the universe is the same God who is still holding the universe together and knows everything about us and still wants us to know him and is not to busy for us. Nothing is to big or to small for him to handle.
