this is literally me right now! i can’t even try to talk back because my mom says the exact same thing! i practice a lot and i would play something for her and she would be like “it’s good, but you can do better.” when i’ve already mastered the entire piece. i want to play for my own pleasure when i want and not take lessons. anyways, i love your videos! ❤
