i smoked a brisket and come chicken yesterday for the first time using mine my food had great smoke flavor and i used the competition blend pellets with a little more added hickory. for my first time using it everything turned out great. i really like not having to keep adding wood and coal to my smoker. only added water to it. my only gripe is the temperature was off while the smoker was in the shade for a bit by about 25degrees, but soon as the sun got around the house it came well up to within 5 degrees and stayed that way.

Do you mix with competition blend and hickory? What temperature are you usually at? Is everything working properly

u still aint get smoke flavor with the smoke tube???

@@itchy-xsmurfx-960 what kind of pellets are u using?? I was pissed with mine last year too then I sold it.. but they say it's the choice of pellets and how u work the temps.. I never got a chance to experience with different pellets before I sold it.. what pellets u using??

@@92greenebeen pitboss comp and I was only able to find expert grill hickory at the wollyworld. But I don't think that matters because everyone I see say how great the comp blend is by itself. I still have and use a master built that puts out a hell of a smokey flavor.

Did you receive an error code or what did not work? Pit boss has a 5 year warranty too.

Yeah they dropped the ball on this one. Literally no smoke flavor ' and its not well made.
