My plan failed. What can I do to recover?

Күн бұрынI headed up to Craigs hut in the Victorian High Country to take some photos. I was planning some star trail photography at Craigs hut but the orientation just wasnt there for the shot.
So what do you do when the plan doesn't work out? So we go from the iPhone 15 Pro Max and elevate to the drone and get some great aerial photos of Craigs Hut.

Very well done. Its amazing what you can do in post editing. I use photoshop, lots to learn about all of the features and capabilities. I use a Mavic Air drone for those shots, unfortunately the camera doesn’t have the best resolution. Still love using my iPhone over my Nikon, its gathering dust sad to say.

Ahh the Mavic air is a good drone mate. It has the 48 mp option which is great.

Circumpolar star trails are over rated. You should have given it a go anyway. That big pano has some stitching errors that stick out quite a bit. Maybe you can do a video on stitching images in lightroom from the raw drone images.
