I live in Panama for 3 years, about 40 years ago. Back then (perhaps still now) there was no 'road' through the Darien Gap--there were certainly footpaths, but no road/trails a vehicle could drive on (even a 2-wheeled vehicle). It was 'technically possible' to cross in a vehicle, but you'd need a lot of additional support and manpower, to get unstuck and to temporarily clear your path.

Noraly's approach is a kind of quiet persistence that often gets her past obstacles. I likely would have just turned around when the transit cop said no traffic allowed. She just patiently pointed out that she's going to the hotel, and then stops talking and waits for the cop to figure out a solution for her. Arguing or objecting would not work in these cases, so she just states what she wants politely, without actually asking for permission she ends up getting permission.

Oh my Noraly! You are so brave! This is one of the dodgiest places on earth, not just the geography and landscape! Look after yourself! Can't wait to see the next episode to know that you've made it! Best wishes

Wow what an episode. Some hectic traffic. Tight squeezes with hectic road works. Quite nerve wrecking. I really admire you. I enjoyed this episode so much.

I would be so nervous leaving my bike in that garage overnight! You sure do take the tough situations head on. Props to you!

Navigating the traffic was stressful just watching it. Noraly handled that situation admirably.

Noraly, your videos document the locations you travel very honestly and transparently, unlike almost any other "source" available to those of us watching. We get to "feel" how you feel in the awe inspiring settings throughout the world, the bland environments, and the settings filled with tension. This is part of the unique experience you provide for us. Thank you for doing it.
