You never fail me Rob when it comes to shaking some great memories that I have not thought about in years out of my brain. I use to watch the series and the movies with my granny. In the early 80's wnep-16 a north eastern PA television station would play re-runs of the Planet of the Apes series and every now and again play a movie. If only to be able to go back in time and relive some of these things from the past. Great memories of sitting there eating a TV dinner with Granny and watching these programs and at that age I was probably eating as much as an ape 🦍 😂😂 I may have some of these cards somewhere in a box, guess I will have to look around when I have the time. Had a great time hangin' around and watching this video as I beat my chest, give you two grunts and two thumbs up 👍👍 Thanks for sharing my friend, it really took me back a few decades

What great collectibles. I didn't watch the Planet of the Apes when I was young, but I started watching them with the Rise of the Planet of the Apes with James Franco and liked it a lot. I am looking forward to the newest movie. Great video, I enjoyed it in full. Like 36, thanks for sharing!

Awesome video Rob. Fantastic Planet of the Apes Collection. Fantastic trading cards. I also have both those sets. The original movies were some of my favorites. I wasn't a big fan of the new releases. I guess that I am too old. lol. I thought that the Apes looked so much better in the originals and the ending of the first one was fantastic. Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed as always.

Yes indeed. Rod Serling, helped write the screenplay for the original Planet of the Apes. What a mind he had. Serling also had a strong grasp of philosophy, science fiction, and social commentary. Observational. You have a great collection. Linda Harrison was so beautiful. Too bad her film career didn't seem to amount for much though, ''Nova'', is still an iconic character, and she didn't even have any lines. Harrison also born in my home state of Maryland.

Awesome history of the franchise Rob! You know I caught the LML Easter egg with that C-3PO card😂. MAC wax with the comparisons of the 2 Harpers. The hooper is featured on my channel a lot. The early movies had huge runs on TNT /HBO / Cable back in the day and I always tuned in , but I don’t think I ever caught them all the way through. It is now on my list. Last Yeah Boy 🎉but definitely the loudest!

Great video. Awesome collection! I like the original films the most particularly the 1st film. Don’t care for the remakes/reboots. I like the novel as well with the surprise ending. This was fun, Rob! I haven never watched the original but now it’s a must see for me. I watched this with Julian and he was cracking up because apparently monkey is the go to diss at his school 🤷🏻‍♂️ so he was laughing hysterically at Monkey Planet. Hey, Rob Harper..he was great on those Bulls championship teams 😉 Cool cards and Linda Harrison auto. I checked to see if there are any Alamo theaters in my area but only in Naples. The Orange-Tang sounds like a drink I used to make myself as a kid. Great stuff amigo..I love the background music in all your videos. It really sets the mood. Good collecting 👍

I didn't realize that there was a movie and a TV series. I thought they were all movies. It has been so long that I don't remember things well. I am glad you addressed that. I have some of these cards you showed in my possession yet. I had just looked at them on Mother's Day. The Alamo that you mentioned in MN was built by the company I work for now. I was there when the walls were going up.

Great collection. I’ve only seen the Mark Wahlberg one & the trilogy from the 2010’s. Never saw the originals or the newest one.
