After watching you and Marquita set up the frankenplanner, I started thinking I needed to try it. I just now set up my first Frankenplanner, and I am surprised at how excited I am. This is why I kept trying bullet journaling but it kept failing. The frankenplanner is perfect since it's everything all together but still compartmentalized. Thanks for sharing!

I was going to keep all separate planners for 2020. At the last minute I decided to FRANKENPLAN. So far I'm glad I did. I enjoyed your video. I like dividers also. I need to label mine. You surprised me by stating you aren't a vertical kind of planner. I watched all your videos on various ways to plan using different layouts. I recommend you to new planners who say they are struggling. Those videos really helped me. I'm looking forward to seeing how you use the Faith planner. I'm using one for the first time. Thanks for sharing your talents. 😊💕

Glad you are tryin frankenplanning! I really love it! As for vertical planning, I can decorate the spread just fine, it’s the using it part that never feels right. No lines, tall boxes, predefined spaces...just not my thing. Horizontal is much more “me” 😁👍🏼

Whew! Very ambitious and very organized. I hope it works out for you because it's quite impressive. My Home Catchall has 4 sections, my Faith planner (that I call my War Room Binder) has 4 sections similar to those you described and then my Work planner has sections but nothing too major, it's kinda customized to my work. I enjoy all that you do so I can't wait to track with you through all of these.

Wow, my head started spinning a little past the halfway point in the video!😳😉 This is my first year with a planner and I'm just using one mini! LOL I knew that if I started with too much I'd get overwhelmed and throw in the towel. Baby steps.👣 It's fascinating to see how the Pro Planner Babes do things.👍🏻

I love it! Your channel is solid gold and I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m a horizontal planner and not at all a vertical 😩 but I live in Sweden so it’s not all easy to by hp planners.. I made my own classic skinny and created a horizontal layout and I love it! Keep up the good work 😍❤️

In the vertical layout, you track your expenses, income per day and use the third vertical as notes of improvement. I am loving your setup.

Every time I see your cover for your daily planner, I see the letter e instead of an ampersand and wish I had bought that notebook. It looks like a monogram to me. They should offer lettered covers on their website. I bet they'd sell. Also, I love it every time I hear you say "live together in happy harmony." It never fails to make me smile. It's so poetic. :-)

Just want to thank you. I combined my HP monthly planner with a HP Journaling planner. It worked out so well and I never would have thought of that. I kept 3 months and used the dividers in the back one for projects and one for budget. I stored the rest on the other disc. It's awesome. Thanks for the ideas.

I've been meaning to pick up a laminator...great way to use one. 👍 How did you punch the disc holes? I really want to use my happy planner punch but it can't handle more than 2 sheets of paper at a time, let alone plastic. 😒

Actually, I use the happy planner punch for my laminated sheet. The key word is to have just one sheet. I tried double & that's pushing it. I put the laminated sheet in, aligned it where I wanted & then took it to the carpet & put used my foot in the middle section to hole punch. I know it sounds scary but it's worked every time & it's clean through & through.

I’m interested to see which ones you’ll keep using. I’ve paired mine down to one mini horizontal 😁 and I’m enjoying it. I’ve ordered a skinny mini to see if I like it for daily inspirational quotes. I’m constantly fighting the urge to buy more planners just bc they’re cute. Love your goals section!

LOVE This video. This is my first year to Frankenplan and as time goes by...more planners each year so I am up to several myself, plus a guided journal and all the other fun stuff I like to keep handy. This is so helpful. I have watched twice and am setting up as I watch. I have more I have to buy..of course...lol. I need more Dashboards so the tabs line up correctly and some pen loops and pocket pages but then I think I will have a great set up. I think without this help I would have just stared at my planner in dismay trying to figure it out...lol. (God is working with me on diligence).

I like the size of MAMBI pages, but not the proprietary size (Ka-Ching). And the covers are so LOUD! They often scream mottos that seem to be someone else's voice, not mine. At one time, I tried some refill packs to incorporate into my Circa and Tul binders, to see if the pages were a life-fit for me (not so much), if not a proper fit for my covers. And I got tired of them not fitting into the covers. So when I saw MAMBI Happy Notes Planners on deep discount, I thought I would try them out. Even though the covers were so LOUD! Then I discovered that the insides of the covers were calmer and less obtrusive - I quite like them! Even the tiny purse-size version I purchased a long time ago had and amazing neutral interior cover, and now looks so pretty with my grey fabric Martha Stewart disc binder, to which I added the smoky platinum aluminum discs (Tul). I put the 4 remaining discs of that set onto this (now) lovely cover of hand-painted-looking dot grid cover, and they two binders look beautifully coordinated. So for people who like the size, but not the covers - look inside!

This might actually work with my brain! I have been debating on what to do I was planning for about a year now. I toggle between printed, digital, and bullet journaling. I have in my head how everything needs to be laid out but I can’t find a physical copy of it! I was attracted to the digital journal because of all the sectioning available Along with the infinite number of pages you can fit. The problem is, I like the art of writing with a pen.

I hated not being able to move things forward from one planner to the next when I used a coil planner. So helpful to keep everything together in one place and be able to move things around as needed! It is my planner peace. 😁💕

So, now that you've had this monster of a Franken planner for six months, how is it working for you? Just curious. I found myself derailed by the pandemic, so my planner has become more of a journal. Planning on adding more sections next year though. I think I found my hobby.

I have been using it pretty much as intended except for the planner babe weekly layouts. I abandoned those around March. I will probably discuss more in planner flipthrough or setup video next week so stay tuned! 😁👍🏼

Loved the video. Will have to try this. Question regarding the health section, will you have the meal planner pages or just write in the meal on the weekly section. Also where would you put future appts ? Thanks for the great ideas.

I will write in my food on the weekly spreads, in the biggest section. And I use the perpetual calendar in the front of the planners to keep track of any events outside on the month I’m in. As I decorate each month, I will reference it and transfer to the monthly...and then the weekly spread. Hope that makes sense.

I am using the same cover as you for my faith planning but I use a horizontal layout to do my journaling about what I'm reading and use the monthly to write out verse of the day. I also have the Homebody planner as my main planner to write everything in. Did you say you have videos of your faith planning? If so I will have to look them up. I like the way you did your morning routine sheet. Very creative!

They are called “dashboards” though I can think of 3 other things called dashboards in the planner community, so 🤷🏽‍♀️😂. Anyway, they are all from the happy planner. I should links to a few sets in the video description if you want a closer look. 😁👍🏼

I think 3 planners was just right, 4 doable, 5 maybe too much. Still figuring out what I need and what I don't. Enjoying figuring things out though. How many planners do you use and for what?
