I had the Wii version as a kid and liked it quite a lot actually. The gameplay is similar but theres something about thefirst wii game's camera angling and ragdoll physics that is significantly better, but it could just be nostalgia for me too

Hey Poof, definitely recommend the Wipeout game for the Wii. It's more fun and the physics make it a bit more realistic. It's definite nostalgia for many true Wipeout fans.

I have a suggestion for you in case you play this game sometime again in the future. During a Course Creator, see if there's a space for an obstacle longer than usual, buy an obstacle that has five moving hoops. When you get to it, launch using the cannon, and crash in the middle of the hoops. You get launched all over the place, including anywhere outside the course boundaries.

I used to love this show! I haven’t watched this for a while. I feel inspired to watch this again. Would love to see the wii version as well
