HOLY SHIT OMORI CONTENT???? Edit: Now that I've actually watched the MV and had a chance to appreciate everything shown and how older Aubrey is "talking" to her past selves (memory of the game is a bit fuzzy), here's some of my thoughts (with obvious spoilers for the game): 0:36-0:40 Aubrey's unresolved feelings for Sunny never really got a chance to develop because of all the shit that went down. 0:50-0:58 "Robbed of anything" referring to how Aubrey was robbed of a loving and supportive friend group. IIRC Hero was pretty absent while he was grieving and Omori hasn't come out in years, which is why they aren't here. Kel kept trying to stay positive after Mari's death, but this left Aubrey feeling like she was the only one who was suffering since she felt like everyone abandoned her/moved on really quickly. 1:22-1:26 I think the gang first met Aubrey when she was crying on the sidewalk? Idk if they ever knew why she was crying but they comforted her anyways. Basil (and his Something) is shown in the back there. 1:36-1:44 Aubrey's mother and pretty obvious child neglect, which just makes her care so much more for her friends because they actually cared about her. 2:12-2:16 Mari was like a big sister to Aubrey. Of course she's trying to cling on to her. 2:18-3:06 This is the oldest version of Aubrey we've seen besides present-Aubrey. Pretty obvious that she isn't taking Mari's death very well. I see this as Aubrey, now knowing that everyone didn't mean to abandon her and they still love and care about her, regretting the self-destructive path she went down ("Hey, don't do, it please" followed by the snapshots of Aubrey dying her hair and going to present-Aubrey + the scene that follows).

This is incredible!! I love your take on the song, it’s been covered so much yet you still were able to put your own spin on it(Ex: 2:08, 2:30, 2:59, 3:32)! The vocals are fantastic, I especially love the part around 2:05! And the MV is just gorgeous- carrot did a wonderful job on it! I was already subbed before this but MAN her art style is so nice to look at, I especially love the expressions and line work!

Just wanted to point out a small detail which I thought was pretty neat. The one time that she recognizes the person as "someone with the same pains as me" is also the first time that she couldn't stop them, it's like she finally realized how alone she was hence why she says "your pitiful expression is just too much for me."

The primere was awesome! The art was breathtaking and the animation was so smooth!!! Aubrey was always my fav omori character so im glad she gets such a incredible animation like this one

It's funny, I found this song while browsing your back catalogue, and it reminded me that I bought Omori during a sale and so I decided to play it. Just before writing this comment, I just completed the "Good Ending" of Omori and gosh darn it was a heavy hitter. Now watching this back, reading the lyrics, and looking at a few of the other comments here puts this into another perspective. It's pretty bittersweet, but I'm optimistic to a fault and believe everything is going to be alright. Bravo.
