When my dog was still alive, I would always brush her outside and she would shed so much that I would never be able to get half of the amount of lose fur off but I would always do it outside for the birds😂

I once watched a video where some irresponsible and horrible clothing industries pluck out rabbit's fur fiercely it's even screaming in pain. This video healed me so much from my traumatic experience watching rabbit's fur being groomed so carefully and gently like this. Thank you :") Bunny is one fragile and delicate creature we all bunny lover could see it how gentle you treated them

My bunny hates being groomed! If you’re not petting him then he wants nothing to do with it! Usually when u cut his nails I have to burrito him in a towel and slide one foot out at a time. I will definitely try covering his face while I brush him!!

Loved this video! I'm a pet grooming apprentice and honestly I love grooming my bunny more than my dog lol. I have a lion head and her head gets so fluffy I've actually learned how to trim her hair. She is always so happy after I groom her 😊 also I highly recommend a zoom groom by Kong for a rubber brush!

Groomer trick! If u sprinkle eat powder before de shedding it gives the brush something to stick too and you’ll deshed more hair! Great videos! Happy bunnies

To bad you don't spin yarn or whatever they do with wool. I moved my recliner once to clean underneath and I had a huge pile of fur(thought I had a 2nd bunny 🐰 for a second....lol). Wonder if you could use it to stuff your bunny bed pillows with.

That's what I'm thinking! Rabbit fur's so soft, you can possibly use the wool for scarves or something! The bunny sheds every year, and depending how many buns one has, it would be good investment without harming the animals! ^^

I have a hobby where I sew smol doll pillows (don't ask me why) and I'm getting a bunny next year. Maybe I can use it's fur for stuffing instead of tearing cottonballs apart.

@@cottonii_ you can get yarn and cut it into 1-2 inch long strands, then use something like a pet fur brush and brush the strands out and it turns into fluff, and it makes good stuffing. Using thin, soft yarn with tinsel is best since it doesn't clump like other yarn (just pick out the tinsel).

Same here. He trusts me enough to stroke his head (in hoped that he'd let me touch him so I can groom him) but when I pet beyond his ear he'll Rush off. i really I want him groomed because the fur on his bottom are already getting matty. Should I use force?

@@lou5278 There can be different reasons to why people only got one bun. Where some buns might be handicapped or maybe just extremely aggressive towards other buns. Maybe people have rescued a bun but dont have room or money for a second. Could be a bun that is old and therefore you choose not to get another cause the bun might die within a year. Dont think you can just tell people to get a second bun.

@@VictoriaBjerring Seconded! I have one bun and can only have one bun as he has Pasteurella. The main thing we have to do is make sure he gets plenty of interaction from us to ensure his social needs are met :) You can have one bun and he/she can be completely healthy and happy but it has to be the right environment and dedication :)

If you don't have a rubber brush like what she used, I've used a silicone rubber hot pot holder. It works pretty well at getting surface hair off.

I do it when I feel like it is needed. Definitely needs to be done more often when they are actively shedding. But because each rabbit has different coats and different breeds have different needs, it is hard to give a estimate on how often it should be done.

When Lulu is shedding this much give her some Oil Seeds, like a Table spoon of sunflower seeds per Day. Or plain Canary Bird Food without animal contens.I give this to mine when they sheeding or in Winter.Helps to keep the Fur pretty.

You can also make your own brush by cutting a rubber band and weaving it through the teeth of a flea comb or just a normal comb!

I have a furminator for my two dogs that shed a lot, it works great for getting tough spots that have lots of hair! Definitely recommend getting one for anyone that has pets that need grooming!

I have five rabbits but they have a fairly large out door enclosure with a outdoor Mesh type thing over top. We don't really groom them but they groom eachother lots, I love my rabbits and they love cuddles so much and it's awesome 😂😍

okay so im a dog groomer and what we learned about the furminator is that is takes good hairs out too. the furminator are like little knives what makes the animal moult more. its just a tip. It looks good because you take lots of hairs out but it isnt. it makes sure that you will have to groom more because the hair growth phase is not like it was. i dont wanna be rude but i find it very important to let people know.
