It's supposed to be an homage to the time she told the writers to change the story in the comics (I haven't read any She-Hulk stuff, but I heard about it). Regardless, it wasn't well executed, felt very out of place, and seemed pretty bland. As someone who loves meta fiction and meta humour, I have to say I was hyped when I first saw what they were going for. Turned out to be "meh" at best. It had potential to bring Gwenpool's level of awareness to the MCU, but lacked any sort of good writing. It looks like She-Hulk tried "smashing" the 4th wall but failed at it. Hopefully we finally get to see true destruction of the 4th wall by Gwenpool someday (although not any time soon, especially when considering the MCU's recent record of butchering great characters).

Damn, didn’t know GLADOS was in the finale of She Hulk. Maybe she can trap her like she did Chelle between Portal 1&2 so we don’t have to see her for another 200 years.

Reminds me of when the Rings of Power did that... sometimes there is no "right way" of breaking the 4th wall, it all depends on what the show is

Something I've noticing is that only Wandervisan & SamxBucky were the only Disney+ that have a "FINALE" The rest of the shows isn't just they ended on a Cliffhanger, is that they litterally cut off the finale (pretty similar to what happened to the 1° season of Titans) Is basically if arrow season 2 ended when Slade kidnapps Roy & Season 3 starts when oliver is stabbed by Ra's, or if Spectacular Spider-man season1 ended with Symbiote Peter fighting Chamelion & season 2 Startd with the Birthday Party of Flash

This is actually pretty in keeping with She Hulk comics. She regularly argued with the writer of the series and called him by name.

@@MOGHI66 This is mostly because every time we get this we get the usual ‘making it woke/ inaccurate to the comics/ whatever else have you’ Deadpool’s fourth wall breaking was lauded when in reality Deadpool copied that off of her. In the comics She Hulk has even directly commented on this

For every year She-Hulk broke the forth wall, 5+ years she didn’t, she may have done it before Deadpool, but even hardcore comic fans don’t associate her with it as if it was always her gimmick because by comparison she does it significantly less than when she isn’t breaking it. Spider-Man breaks the wall in the Ultimate Spider-Man show, is it suddenly his shtick now? Batman used to kill people in his earliest issues, but he’s never associated with that because he’s gone significantly longer not killing. For comic characters, it’s kind of a matter of longevity, whatever elements last the longest tend to be the ones most associated, it’s why most Spider-Man media tends to skip his relationship with Gwen and jump straight into MJ.

If they wanted to actually break the fourth wall, they would have had her actually talk to Kevin Feige. And I've never seen this movie, but like in "Deadpool 2" when Deadpool travels back in time and kills himself. . . twice!

Hey when is the x-men coming back? 🤓👍🏻 Jen just casually references x-men I think twice…. Well the first time it wasn’t really her it was her mate idk her name when she did the wolverine claws and the second one… well you all already know she just mentions it. Jen Walters tried so hard to make her show work in the finale but it just didn’t work 😂
