I liked it. All the build-up was about the various game modes, so I expected an ad. And considering Eminem was in it for only two minutes or so, we got a heck of a lot of gear affiliated with him. I just wish the loading screen had a scene from the Marshall Nevermore sequence - that was sick. I have to admit I was not looking forward to the Lego or racing modes, but now I am. And before I say it was bad in any way, I compare it mentally to Ice King event and have to reply "No it wasn't bad."

this event was so short but definitely worth the wait!!! it felt like a tech demo for another game with the lego area lol also somehow I'm level 150 already with no quests left lol, the og map just hits different

True, it felt really short. Me and my brothers were hyped for this moment, we even waited on discord for about an hour early hoping to get into the event. The event was really good, but the fact that we waited for so long just for a very short event just makes it feel like it’s not worth the hype and the wait.

I loved it. I wasnt expecting lore for a reboot. We have to keep in mind, this is supposed to be a fresh start. We will learn as it goes. I think this was a great way to let people know what else is to come for Fortnite as a whole. Ive been waiting for the Guitar Hero reveal since they acquired Harmonix over a year ago.

No dummy it's not a reboot.. We're still in the same story.. Jones and SLONE are still there.. The story is the same it's a constant loop.. But they screwed up and gave zero storyline in this event.. It was garbage

Personally, I don't think this event was particularly bad of its own merit, I actually thought it was decent enough. The bigger problem is how much they were hyping this up as this massive, game changing, story-rich event with some "huge, memorable reveal," when it just... Wasn't.

The only reason it wasn’t as big or as some other people are complaining "story packed" is because this is supposed to be the huge reboot of Fortnite. Story wise what happened is slones plan was to get the rocket in the zero point which left it stranded in the omniverse (where we were flying to different universes in the event) and right before the black hole appeared the rockets Time Machine essentially detonated causing this "big bang" and releasing the omniverse.

I cant even play the event. They didn't let me in the first time and I'd been waiting ever since that showing for the second one, but they kicked me out at 4 and now I'm stuck in an hour and a half queue. I honestly don't even want to watch it ingame anymore this is to much work and pain for nothing

I’m copying what I put for the other video down. This event was not a good event. It didn’t show anything story related, gave us cutscenes and let us look at stuff we all already knew about, whilst allowing us to press buttons that were useless, Eminem was on for like 2 minutes and was the only okay part of the event, the whole first part was the exact same from chapter 1 season X besides the added ability to make the meteor look different, AND THERE WAS NO “Memorable reveal” or whatever. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CUBE ISLAND????? I THOUGHT THE LAST REALITY WOULD BE INVOLVED BUT IT WASNT EVEN TALKED ABOUT! KEVIN WAS USELESS!!!!

There was no story because this event is supposed to be the huge reset of Fortnite, when the zero point blew up and we saw the Mandelbrot instead of a black hole, that was the creation of a whole new omniverse.

Hey Tabor did they say if they are going to fix the Que issue ? I was on at 8 am then kicked and hour later 2 hours before the event on the west coast. Every que I get in I get to the loggin screen then it puts me in another que ? What are they doing about this thing ?

I signed in an hour and a half early and played 2 matches and then sat in the lobby, and then the last five minutes waiting for the end event. When the icon popped up, I couldn’t click on it, and then it disappeared when I started scrolling through all of the games to see if I could click on anything.

I long onto to Fortnite at 1:25 pm and the queue had me waiting for over an hour and missed the live event hopefully we still get the loading screen and secondary style was not my fault

2 reasons 1 (the in-story reason) it’s only goal really was to draw out the Zero Point, and once it did that, it didn’t really have much use on the island, so it flew away. 2 (the actual reason): it would get in the way of the rocket and meteor, sadly, but it would be amazing if we saw the rocket cut through the island and Kevin.

Actually pretty cool, man! Nothing really there in terms of much story, but the production for that was insane! The Lego and racing modes look absolutely sick! The guitar hero thing was cool too. The particles and lights were beautiful, cutscene animations were great and the music throughout the whole thing was absolutely fantastic! Wow! I didn't get to attend it, so thanks for the archive of it! I honestly prefer a long cutscene or something compared to that fracture thing where you had to collect all the stuff forever! 😅😆 Overall, not the best, but certainly not terrible. Just mainly a teaser of what's to come. I feel Eminem could have had a better longer segment! There needs to bee a full concert. I feel kid laroy even had more of concert in that creative game mode. Regardless, pretty cool stuff! 😅😎👍🏻

It did have lore. Instead of the zero point doing a Big Bang it got destroyed. That was what that big white light was. The zero point getting destroyed.

It was perfect, but wasn’t really any way to show lego without it seeming like ad. The car stuff just needed to be that, great work, mostly intrigued in the prospect of that but if they start selling different specks 🤣 Eminem in a damn good way was ;Short but dangerous; might’ve “been the way he wanted it” then the end with the timer enclosing while we witness the anamik visuals. It wasn't as long as I would have liked it to be. The Lego, and racing was fun to watch. I think the music part should have been longer too. Eminem wasn't on very long at all. No lore was disappointing 😢

something i just realized is that we’ve been to every single fortnite map in less than 2 years. Chapter 2 ended on December 4th 2021, and we’ve had every single map since then. Tomorrow we’ll have the chapter 5 map just one day before 2 years, so we’ve been to Chapters 1-5 in less than 2 years.

And after watching the videos on KZfaq it would have been awesome for me and my kids to be a part of it. Especially since it's a free game to play

It kicked me out of the game after the live event, I tried to log back in and it put me in an hour and a half queue. Once that was over it said retry. I did that and it put me in another hour and a half queue. What should I do? Just wait?

Yeah this event sucked, All we got was a mini concert and promotional stuff for the future of Fortnite. No lore is honestly crazy. I think if the events are gonna stay this bad they shouldn't do them anymore, Stop wasting money and time on them if you won't make them good.

The event wasn’t bad, could’ve had a little more time with Eminem. Was kind of short imo if you compare to the Ariana grande event. Nice showing what’s coming but some bums up to chapter 5 would’ve been great
