For the strategy of buying 5% down, moving out in a year, renting it out to match expenses, and then buying another one 5% down and repeating it year over year over and over: is it easy to keep getting these mortgages and to have this many mortgages that were primary residences converted to rentals? I’m looking to buy my second one right now

You can rent and live there at the same time, whether you rent extra rooms or get a Multifamily and rent the other units. FHA just means you have to live there
