hello friends! this video is a bit more relaxed than usual... I'm trying to record a lot of videos before I go travelling and get them scheduled!! so I plan on recording 1 day/video instead of like... a whole week/video!!! hope you enjoyed this one :D see you next time ~~~

Hey Leah! I’ve recently also had worsened acne around my chin/cheeks that’s never occurred to me before! I went to a dermatologist and she reviewed my skincare + whilst she put me on accutane to sort it out she told me that actually hyaluronic acid in its pure form (and she gave the ordinary as an example) can be very pore clogging, especially for people with oily skin! The cerave moisturiser is great though, so maybe try skipping the ordinary serum for a couple months see if that makes a difference to your long standing acne!

oh wow!! I would've never thought that, I've used the serum for years... maybe I should replace it with another. I had used the purity centella unscented for a few months and it was AMAZING for forehead texture, but then I ran out and continued using the ordinary serum instead! will re-order my purito serum and see how my skin does without HA in the meantime!! thank you :D

hey leah! lovely video as always :) also idk if this could be of any help but as someone who has struggled with oily skin and breakouts for long i think the main problem in your routine is that bha toner bc using actives like that one on already active breakouts can worsen your skin barrier therefore making it overcompensate by producing more oil. i'd stick to a pretty simple routine and then once my acne is healed i can try to give the bhas or ahas another chance. i'm pretty sure you would benefit lots from using a watery toner too bc oily skin tends to hate thick serums or creams and prefers watery consistencies or gel creams since it lacks water unlike dry skin that lacks oil. hope this didn't sound too condescending lol, im always happy to help ppl with skincare since its one of my main interests
