Idk if anyone notice but I think the time was a bit off when you were editing lol. Like in the middle it was 3:00pm then the end was like 11:00am but that’s ok girl lol I know you have been working hard and we all make mistakes (by the way I saw it on your time in your kitchen)

I like this video alot! I miss your more raw content. For me the flashy content is hard to watch on longform horizontal videos. For vertical TikTok’s it’s okay but because to me YOU are the niche I come to watch you and engage with you like we’re hanging out as friends and I think the flashy content takes away that effect, and if there’s a lot of cuts every 5-8 seconds makes it less engaging… for example the parts in this video I enjoyed were 5:22 ( feel like it’s calms down for a minute to just connect) and 9:37 (again feels more personable and raw/real). Like when it comes to watch retention because youre already established people come to see you not always the topic of the video so the retention lyes between the engagement we will have with you while we watch. And when the edit is over-cut feels less connected. To be honest this is a 10 minute video (and everyone might not agree) but if you left in all the in between parts and was a 45 minute Vlog (or even an hour) I would still watch the whole video (even more so when it’s a longer video, grab my tea, snacks and put on Natalie’s outlet for an hour) and think it would feel so much more engaging like we’re hanging out. Like the old days when you used to livestream on KZfaq, that was a great way to keep subscribers coming back as livestreams are engaging. Also it might re-awaken your algorithm to subscribers that KZfaq haven’t pushed videos to for a while. I do love the idea of you editing your videos again, it should help your creative flow. And also I feel like maybe your thumbnails changed too? Like back in the day your face was the “stamp” so when scrolling we see your face clearly,(and big enough top to bottom on the thumbnail i.e head to shoulders, a dobrik effect as you will) making it easy for us to recognize you and click to watch, especially when scrolling fast. And the repetition of that recognizability should help views and older subscribers to notice your videos again. Because when the picture of you is small in the thumbnail or when you’re not in the thumbnail it’s easy to scroll passed. I think simplifying will actually benefit your channel a lot. Because a lot of the “KZfaq dos and don’t advice” are more for people starting out brand new channels. You have an established audience that was gained in longform content without too many flashy edits (a reasonable amount) but they should have the attention span to watch your videos like the old days (and remember not everyone is on TikTok or watches vertical videos, so changing the format might effect viewer retention negatively with too many edits) like there are plenty of channels that post 45min-1Hour video series and they get a great retention without animations or text over the screen every 5 seconds, so it’s definitely possible but creating the content to be as engaging as possible again is what keeps that watch retention hooked, so at the end of the day we come for you Natalie, or Natalie & Dennis, YOU are the niche - you grew an amazing audience of subscribers let’s get them rewoken! You got this!! Ps if I could request any videos I would request a challenge of a 45 minute Vlog. But some other ideas would be a day at Disney, or you and Dennis trying new menu items (Rosanna did this with her hubby and felt engaging to watch), travel vlogs, (ever see Click4taz? Or her extra side channel she does a video style where she just eats her dinner and she just has a chat, and gives a “having a chat with your friend” vibe, but that’s it eating and catching up.) or even some of the couples challenges you use to do on your Vlog channel back in Cali time, those were fun to watch very entertaining. Open us into your world again. Even as basic as a grocery haul, girl your fridge looks amazing! Lol your world ‘Natalies Outlet’ contains so much! Invite us in! Teach us your ways! 🙌 lol Become friends with your Outties again. And wake that algorithm up. YOU GOT THIS 💪😎!!!

I like this format and the flashy animations. If I had to chose I would pick flashy animations but if this makes you happy keep doing it!
