I can see how Naomi`s mom really effected her. The elegant way of speech, the confidence, and not to mention the beautiful genes she inherited from her mom. Her mom is truly strong for being a single mother, raising Naomi well and listening to her daughter`s dream. She is her mom, but also her best friend. Respect.

It's a true though. It's VERY unhealthy to have 'friendship' with parents because parents aren't your friends. Close relationship with parents are important and okay but there is a line between frienship and parents. Your parents are the only one with who you can be a child in any age. It's impossible to do with friends. Also, you can't talk on the details of your sexual life with parents. It's not normal to hear it from them too. There is a lot of things which are could be in FRIENDSHIP but they are not healthy for relationship with parents. P.S. It's not about your country origin though. Many psychotherapists and psychologists talk about it.

Seriously, her mother looks AMAZING! Oh my gosh! Videos like this, showing the loving relationship between child and parent, always get to me. I've always had a close relationship with my parents and I'm so blessed and privileged for our relationship. Naomi said that she's verbal with the people she loves and her mother said that first, she's mom - then the bff. I think that's awesome. I totally feel that way with both of my parents. Also, I was raised in a household with hugs, kisses, and saying/showing how much we love each other, so I can't imagine ending a conversation with my sibs or mom without saying, "I love you." In Fed. 2012, I've lost my father to cancer. I didn't get a chance to tell him I loved him one more time because as soon as I heard his voice, I broke down and couldn't stop crying. So the last time I verbally told my dad I loved him was through my mom. I know he knew how much I loved him and I know how much he loved me - but I still feel guilty for not taking a deep breath and saying those 3 simple words. I'm sharing this story to encourage you, if you have a broken relationship with your parent(s), to mend it, end each conversation with, "I love you," and show them how much you love them. Living with the guilt is a heavy burden and I would give anything to be able to tell me dad, my bff, my superhero, "I love you," one last time. ❤️

LaTasha Coates You are lucky. My parents never grateful for me. I wish they have the chance to say those simple three words to me, to hug me and kiss me. I told them I love them. But they never reciprocate YET. It's hurtful when I was raised in abusive environment with lack of the act of love, but in the end I must forgive them just because they are my parents. I am grown up and a professional now, but deep down inside the inner child inside of me still craving for their love. They never proud of my career. They never proud of who I am, and what I do and achieved. I hope they change one day. When you don't experience the love of your parents, you will always feel empty for the rest of your life.
@LaTashaImperiale5 жыл бұрын
+UClZi0XQ3VaSPjHcY4ifdWCQ I'm so sorry to hear that. I can't imagine that emptiness you feel, but I'm so glad you've decided to forgive them. Along with forgiveness, you can totally grow from it. If you have children, show them the love and attention you never received. Have you had a talk with them? Just a one-on-one conversation, expressing to them how you've felt, how you feel now, and letting them know that you do forgive them? I think since you're so optimistic about your relationship, I believe it will grow to be more loving. It'll take work, but I think it's doable! Keep me posted and in the meantime, I will pray for you :-)
