So blessed to see Lester Sumrall's beautiful joyful face when he shared these sweet memories. What a blessed time listening to this, I felt the presence of God and the smile of God

In my younger days, I never ever missed Lester Sumrall's daily broadcasts. I had been recently baptized in the Holy Spirit and OH it was thrilling to join in those powerful events thru TV. It so powerfully touched my life, and my phone nearly rang constantly with callers wanting prayer, and there were many miraculous interventions in the lives of those who called! Would to God those days of outpouring returned TODAY!

Smith lived in the village next to the one I was born in, but he passed two years before I was born. I live in N.Z. now but it’s great to hear of a Yorkshireman with such faith! 🔥🔥🔥

It take an American to Say to Mr Smith Wigglesworth (The Apostle of Faith ) "Tell me the truth now" said by a young Lester Sumeral, at the time. This must be a throw away phrase, in America

For anyone who might be confused: Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.

With all my heart I saw the miraculous power of God! I want to be as close to the man who has the power of God. Even though they have passed on, the Spirit is alive! I want to relive this spirit here on earth! Lord let me relive it!

Nelma Joan I saw on google and here on KZfaq a little more. He and his son passed on, and both had served in world wide capacities, and there were nice photos of their families. I really missed out.

Deb Babbit, his name was Lester Sumrall he was a mighty man of GOD very loving and humble. His teachings were on Lesea broadcasting television WHMB 40. They use to show them twice a day. He had a beautiful wife she went to be with the LORD before him. They had three sons. Their son Peter who was part of the television ministry passed away in the 2015. I’m not sure if they still have the television ministry anymore.

I think people idolize people that worked in the in gifts of God. I am sure Smith Wigglesworth was an man of faith, but without the power of God, he would have been nothing profitable. God said without me you can do knowthing! We need to look at the source, and talk about the source, that's were the power is and were change and miracles happen! Wigglesworth was the conduit, but God is the electricity. Just like Sampson, God was the source for his strength and at one point the lord departed from him. Judges 16 "And she said, The Philistines beupon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him." When the power of God left him he was just a weak frail man.

Yes your right brother But it's also lovely to know we had brothers who sought the Lord and God He worked through them. Ain't that wonderful, that encourages me to seek the Lord of God more and also be written epistle like our brothers and sisters before us like Paul the apostle, Smith and Billy Graham and all other saints.
@firstbornjordan5 жыл бұрын
They idolize indeed. Yet that same power of the Holy Ghost is available to all. Wigglesworth refused the world and the flesh, and in time God's fullness and power from on high came to him. He was consecrated. Something that many Christian's choose not to be through ignorance, compromise, "uncharitable suspicion and harsh judgement", and the like. Many have repented, but few appear to take up their cross, deny themselves and follow Him. That's why it seems to enigmatic and unique. Envy can be added to the list. We are ensnared by the world and the prince of the power of the air, sadly. We need turn our eyes upon Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

So say nothing and never testify to what GOD is doing!? This is how we OVERCOME the devil! So stop being critical when the brother is testifying and let people get ministered to. What are you, a self appointed watchdog? GOD NEVER ASKED FOR YOUR HELP!
