Only a few singers can give justice to this very difficult Mariah piece. Jona slayed this so beautifully. The jumping in and out of the head voice was so seamless. Belting power was there and the runs were on point! I love how she made some twists right at the end too. So proud of you Jona. QUEEN!!

It is very difficult "to tell" if a Filipino singer has actually had formal training, just coz the vast, vast majority have not (high 90s) and odds are, Jona has not. Though still, you could be right, but that could be a fluke. There are many more PH singers who many say have had training and ding, ding, ding, they're wrong.

Also when the hell did jona learn to do whistles using the airy vocal fry method??? She used to hit whistle notes whith headvoice but this last note was the airy vocal fry type! WOW!! Soul Princess - soothing to the ears those Low airy notes you can really feel the soul and emotion of the song... Fearless Diva - singing one of the hardest song that require a lot of singing techniques and vocal power... Birit Queen - belting out those high notes, the transition from chest voice to head tone and whistle, plus the runs and riffs is just heaven... JONA this is artistry 😍😍😍

Dont compare Jona's singing with Mariah's singing style. They have their own unique sound. Lets just love what Jona can do for such beautiful song like this. Jona is best. Be thankful for her talent that has been shared to us. Jona is also a fan of Mariah. Then just dont say she does not hit the note. "What kind of note are you looking for? Are you sure you listen to the song carefully? " dont be jealous. I know everyone can do this with your own style. 😊😊

Hindi niya nman talaga nkuha ang original note, and she can’t whistle that’s why high head voice is there... of course she is great and I love Jona, but pls be open to all criticisms and if it is true then just say yes and embrace of course what Jona can do:) yup she can’t whistle but who cares she nailed this song, isa kang ilusyonadang jona fan... Omg. That’s why I love her. She is a real singer. She has a background in music and was classically trained. You can see the difference between a trained singer and someone who just belts and birits unnecessarily yelling and screaming. Jona’s voice is so smooth and crystal clear and her belts aren’t pushed. And her voice must be amazing because there aren’t any added effects to this track. Can you imagine if she recorded this in a kpop studio? Oh how I wish someday.
