Agree 100%. If you see this comment Carrie, I really appreciate you sharing this insecurity. It's super helpful, because (1) I've watched your vids for YEARS and have never thought about your ears, (2) even now you've mentioned your ears, they look normal and non-memorable to me, (3) it helps convince myself my own insecurities are similarly non-memorable/not-noticeable to others

Just fyi, I love when you talk about the books you're reading. I do not care if you are negative or positive, I just like talking about books and hearing people talk about books. In my opinion all of your vlogs are interesting and all of your commentary on anything is interesting, but you mentioned your concern about it during the book section and I wanted to specifically state that I love that content.

That is so true! I got my bad vision from my dad, and I always hated having wearing glasses when my siblings didn't have to. As an adult I now realize that its special and something I will always share with my pop :) doesn't bother me at all anymore. We even make our eye exams together to help each other pick out our frames. I got his stubbornness too! :)

re: Colleen Hoover - I totally agree!! She was SO hyped on reels/tiktok, like people were saying her books were the best they've ever read. I read It Ends With Us over the summer and... I don't know, totally exposing myself here but it read like the Twilight fanfics I used to read in middle school! Little character development, shallow plot line, smutty. I did breeze through it, but also found myself rolling my eyes during a lot of parts.

Insecurities are MENTAL because I've never ever noticed your ears but when you had your hair up I just thought how cute you looked!!! I get it though, I wouldn't wear my hair scraped back off my face for years because I was scared I'd look "masculine"... so stupid! You have cute ears and that Midnights outfit was STUNNING ❤️

If you are looking to branch out from Colleen Hoover, I just read SUCH a good book. It’s called Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney and it’s a psychological thriller about a couple. It’s so so good and I didn’t want to put it down, 10/10 would recommend

I’m the same way with books honestly like very intellectual books are just not what I like. If I ever come across one I find myself having to read over a sentence twice to understand it and I don’t like that. I want to read something easy and something that just puts me at ease to where I can actually get into the book

I think that your ears are gorgeous- you're gorgeous. However- I have insecurities too and I know that sometimes it can really make it feel hard to relax if they are "on display". My ex used to get these things online that stuck behind your ear back to your head- like a temporary pinning- so yeah- you could try those.
