How can a perfect judge forgive. What do these verses mean? For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life. Leviticus 17.11 The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! John 1.29.

@@John14.6 A perfect judge indeed doesn't forgive, but does justice. BUT Allah forgives the sins that in which you don't wrong anybody else, but only disobey Allah's command (adultery, alcohol etc) Allah only forgives the sin when you resolve to not to do the same thing again and regret it. But if your sin harmed any of the creatures of Allah SWT, you must compensate for that for the repentance to be complete. Hence Allah SWT is the most Just of Judges. And he doesn't have to consult anybody.

@@meemalifaaeen Thank you for your response. I agree that Allah/Almighty God is the most just of judges and doesn't have to consult anybody else. Because He is the most perfect of judges this is the problem for us. A perfect judge says "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth". No one gets away with anything with God. Also it is not just a case of what we think of as big sins, but what we see as small sins, God sees differently. Jesus said in Matthew 5, 27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. And also 21 “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ 22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell. I stand by the verses I quoted in my earlier post. The whole Bible points to Jesus being the redeemer of the world to those who believe and trust him in simple faith. As a Christian I know my sins are forgiven and have confidence to face judgement day. Can you say the same. Thank you for reading.

Allah is twisted. Too weak to sustain himself he needs people to make him feel useful. By Him in whose hand is my soul, if you did not sin, Allah would replace you with people who would sin and they would seek forgiveness from Allah and He would forgive them. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2749, Grade: Sahih

Bit surprised that Shabir did not give any references in the Quran fo healing. Tyndale Bible Verse Finder has 13 verses for study: One of them is 1 John 1: 8-9 : God is willing to forgive our sins. Gideons' New Testament and Psalms has some 58 themes for those seeking help from God. Surah 53:32 states that the Lord is ample in forgiveness for those who take their willingness to guard against evil as an offering to Him - Yusuf Ali's footnote.

i guess he doesn't give the reference is because the attribute of merciful and forgiving of God is states many-many times in the quran and had become a common knowladge for us muslim.

@@ainmaranma It is correct that every surah begins like that. Index gives 23 surah texts on sin. 26:14 shows Moses was forgiven for killing an Egyptian and 48:2 says how Allah forgives the Quraysh Pagans when they converted to Islam. All other texts say the harsh punishment await the sinner. Christianity takes different approach.

Maybe this person can not shake the feeling of guilt because they have not found the true way to have sins forgiven. What do these verses from the Bible mean; For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life. Leviticus 17.11 The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! John 1.29. The first is one of the many from the books of Moses about the way of atonement (having your sins forgiven) being by the shredding of blood and the second reveals that Jesus is the way to have your sins forgiven, because he is that sacrifice that Moses was prophesying all the way through his writings.

I'm not a christian, but I heard a lot of ex-muslims convert to christianity after asking for help in prayers to Jesus. Many ex-muslims testified they never felt any connection with allah. Maybe because the relation is one of slaves (muslims) to master (allah), so there is no love involved in islam. It may be worth a try for you.

@@AdventureofKB Yeah. However, from what I have seen (the most), muslims converting to christianity were "faithful" muslims (meaning they want to believe in God) who could not endure the sinful behavior of Muhammad and/or the hate and war messages in the quran (and the actions of jihad terrorists actually mimicking Muhammad and the Sahaba), but liked the prophet Jesus as depicted as sinless and peaceful. They prayed, then were answered in dreams or visions. As for "christians" converting to islam, what I have seen are non-practicing christians (born in a home where the familly is more or less religious and christianity is more a cultural vestige than an actual commitment to God). These "christians" felt loss at some point in today's society and it was easy for a muslim preacher to get him/her in, many times just by telling the convert what he/she wanted to hear, with no regard for truth. Those "christians" did not really tried to reach a pastor or priest with their questions, the muslim preacher was simply there at the right time to pick them up. On the other hand, non-practicing muslims who apostatized are generaly leaning towards atheism, because they just can't bear the weight of religion because of all the pressure from the ummah, they simply want to be free from religion.
