Watch this update sharing the locking phases with picture and what to expect during each phase. Beginning locks is a journey and depending on how you start your locks things could be a little different. This is what I found from my research and my own personal experience. Happy Locking Fam!

Some Facts about my locks:
-I have about 560 or so, I haven't counted in a while and I did combine some locks from my initial install
-I have been locked since June/July of 2020 so had my sisterlocks for 3 years which I just figured out in this video haha
-I had traditional locks before I had sisterlocks
-I started my locks with about 14 inches of hair that was cut so my starter locks were about 7-9 inches in different areas.

I’ve been Sisterlocked for about 2.5 years and it’s the best decision ever! I just love watching hair videos while I set my hair and sit under the dryer- it’s like having a gf with you! 😊

Your hair look beautiful !! I am exactly 1 year on the 6/7 of October I started at 21/2 and 3 inches it has grown now I am 7 and 71/2 inches . My hair is locked some of my ends are lock but I love it that way . I can't wait for shoulder length .

@@myamorenzoni Hi , it's I year ! I was talking about the inches I started with , and yes is has grown in the one year . It's been going greet and I love my hair .😊

I will be 2 years with my locs on 10/10 and I also got pregnant while at the beginning of my loc journey (7 months in). My baby is 8 months now and I am still slightly worried about postpartum shedding with my locs. I got locs because I already had one daughter, who is now 6, who has a head full of thick hair and my baby (also a girl) has a mass of curls too.

Hi Locked Sis, your right there with me when it comes to convenience then because when you have more than one head to do. Your own is usually the last one you want to do haha. Which stage do you feel like your locks are in currently?

@@myamorenzoni teenage stage I still have my curly ends and refuse to do anything to keep them. My husband has started his locs in March and his looks more mature than mine. I started with armpit length hair though. You have to start a book club too with your book reviews 😀

I gotcha! I have the curly ends but these locks feeling kinda thick so I think I'm between the teenage and mature haha it's so odd. I'm sure your locks are beautiful! Does hubby have traditional locks or microlocks too? I would love to! Lets see how the content performs!

I’ll be 2 years 10/12. Waiting on my hair to drop because the shrinkage is still real over here lol

It is!! Do you still braid? I've been learning that that helps give me some more length.

How many locs do you have? I felt the same way but I know the locked lady with more than 600 have it harder to get that length!@@daphne_GP601
