I love your positive outlook on the situation. I haven’t heard of excess b12 causing breakouts, but there were probably excipients in the supplement you were allergic to (magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, stuff like that) I’ve definitively seen dairy and egg sensitivity inflame the skin though. You should check out Alitura by Andy Hnilo. He developed a line of all natural/super food skin care products after dealing acne and healing facial scars from a severe car accident (he models now).
