Im working on getting into owner operator myself im not happy about new laws though hopefully America will stop complying with laws that tax us more with laws that restrict us more sure is difficult to get started its in the hands of the state so im waiting hopefully in another moth the state will let me work

Im actually looking for a 3500 chevy dually gas to hot shot with thinking i can avoid the expenses of deff and costs of fuel and mechanical costs what do you think

You have to go where the loads are. stay out of dead zones. are you able to haul to Canada ? lots of food heads North. Onions and spuds , can go on flat deck. just a thought. Hope you get a load out of Colorado.

Where did you buy your trailer from? I have a hotshot set up I’m hauling vehicles right now looking to switch over to hauling freight. Any info that you can share would be helpful. Stay safe out keep doing what your doing.

Hi Alex, Noticed early in your video that you ran your windshield washers. Guess you've realized that the washer fluid has gotten super expensive nowadays? My Nephew actually showed me on Amazon that you can buy about 100 individual packages of tablets, each making 1 gallon of fluid from just plain water for about $10 to your door. I bought it and have been making my own fluid for several months now.

I actually don’t use a lot of washer fluid. Can’t say I’ve noticed a price increase. It’s still $3 at Walmart.

Im assuming that was a 2 day drive just to get there ? its a long way to come back empty. Probably would have been better to drive a full day back, roughly half way and find a load closer to home rather than loose 2 days waiting around. I hate waiting around so im happy to come back empty and go to the next one. How many miles on the ram now mate ? it must be racking up big miles by now, lol

I don’t remember how many days it took me to get there. Prob over 2 days. That’s a long way back empty if I don’t get a load. It’s hard to leave empty because you always have that hole that a load will turn up. The truck has 150k now. Just breaking in 😁

@@muko2002 I don’t know why DOT would request receipts for hotels. They don’t care where you sleep. lol. As long as your clock shows you were off dusty for 10 hours before driving again.
